Sorry, I can't watch it but seriously. Two bookings in such a short time sound like intent so send off to me. Surely the ref could have given him a serious ticking off before the second booking.

So frustrating when you see that line-up and expect to spend a lot of the game attacking, but then somebody does something so stupid and now we’ve got an hour of defending to do.

Wouldn't say he is a liability but he is a last 20 min man he isn't a starter in my book. You bring him on to lump balls up to in the last 20 chasing a game or to hold the ball if holding onto a lead.

The ref may have done his shoulder trying to get his card out so quickly.

The first wasn't a booking at all. The 2nd challenge was probably a yellow, but surely the ref has to take the first booking into account, and warn the player to calm down?

Atwell seemed desperate to make a point.

Before the sending off, there was no point Lanzini or Chicarito being on the pitch, the way we were playing, and that has continued since the sending off.

I'd bring off Chicarito at half-time for Sakho, and maybe Arthur for Arnie.

Think there's more chance of Arthur getting up and down.

Perhaps so, but it was utterly brainless of Carroll to do exactly the same thing so soon afterwards.

Will be interesting to see whether anyone else gets booked for leading with the arm this weekend , because I'm pretty sure it happens in every game.
