I'm a bit disappointed by that, to be honest. They were heading for the Championship under Hughes.

Hopefully the rot has set and they'll still struggle, because we could do without a relegation rival having a dose of new manager syndrome.

Unless it's like West Brom's new manager syndrome, of course.

I too am annoyed and for that reason hoped stoke would get a replay to string it out a bit longer. We certainly don’t want them to get a new person in and potentially bounce back with a few positive results
