  • Our new home kit has a collar apparently ☹️

Home and away kits based on these apparently
  • Is there a tie to go with it? And why do we want to look like Sheffield United? :p
  • Oh I misread. Anyway, collars and stripes should be avoided....
  • Claret shorts for the home kit, according to Ex.

    I think blue

    What, no shirts? 😳
  • Haven't you heard? The PL are trialing shirts v skins next season.
  • Is the rumour based on these concept kits

  • I quite like them, but no.

Ex has seen the kits. Home and away are as per Ham's post, and I believe the 3rd kit is navy blue, which I think was the 'Di Canio' away kit.
  • The Blue White Lines look to Sheffield Wednesday / Huddersfield.
  • Have we ever had stripes before? A total no-no for me.
  • He said these are close. I didn’t realise the blue and white had been done before, I thought it might be an attempt to inspire Lanzini.

  • Does anyone know what software people use to do these concept kits? I'd quite like to have a go.
  • It's not Microsoft Paint?

Yeah, but there are going to be some ugly scenes in the crowd when they are following the skins. 🤢

    Aguero anyone?

Nothing we haven’t seen in Newcastle

More likely to be Dulux. =)

    Just found this:
Away kit: 1991-92* to 1992-93** (as shown in Ham's post earlier)

"With the club struggling for survival in their first season back in Division One. The Hammers wore an unorthodox blue and white striped away kit. For the first time in over 15 years the club took to the field in an away stripe that wasn’t plain white."

    *relegated from 1st Division
    **promoted to PL
  • I like the striped kit
  • Looking at the playing kit from 1993 to 1998 with the maker's name boldly proclaiming PONY, it always amazed me that an East End/East London club would not see the rhyming slang reference.
  • It's not Microsoft Paint?

    That collar is nasty
  • Unfortunately that is what it would look like on me. 😔
  • Get them to put a loch ness monster on it, they will look great.
  • I had some pyjamas that were not dissimilar to the striped kit. I was about 7 and liked them very much. I’m 60 now and my tastes have altered slightly.

Did you like Leeds back then?
