  • Won't it cost seats, though? Or how am I supposed to understand this move?

The idea is to fill in the “arch” behind each goal, I don’t believe any stand “moves” in any shape or form

When / if they do that then those seats will not be covered by the roof so if it rains you will get soaked, but there again many do already under the design that was supposed to cover every seat.

(That’s not having a “pop” at the club in anyway before someone may think it is)

If they get this done then great, at least it shows they’re trying to make some positive changes, the claret surround comes first (soon) then this for next season

  • Need to see the plan in detail, but is sounds like a good idea to me, squaring it off between the corners will make it feel much more like a football stadium.
  • I read somewhere that it will involve an additional 700 seats but at this stage the capacity would still remain at 60,000.
  • The design I think did cover every seat but but that was as an athletics stadium
  • The roof was re-done when it was converted, wasn't it?
  • I think so but not sure if it was before are after they tried the “retractable “ seating which never materialised.
  • I remember getting soaked sitting near the front of the Bobby Moore lower at Upton park.
  • I got snowed on at Tranmere in 1992.

  • No such thing as bad weather, just wrong clothing ;biggrin

Certainly was, and the lights moved under the roof I believe

    ;ok
  • I seem to recall that the roof was the most expensive part of the conversion.
  • The 'new roof' follows the line of the stands as they are when in football mode.

I thought there was an PL rule that all stands had to sit under a roof.

Squaring off the BML & TBL will take them out of the roof line.

  • Add a retractable roof extension?

    ;whome
  • Add seats with roofs?
  • Retractable seats with roofs?

And people thought the gaps to the pitch at our ground were big ;clap
  • Season ticket prices going up, not that much of a surprise really, when you don’t make the proposed £9m extra a season that helped sell the move then you’ve got to do something especially when you’ve got interest on loans to pay
  • You seem to have lost one of these ;ok

    'Some'
  • edited March 2019
Now where would that “some” be inserted in my paragraph - honest question I don’t know??

    West Ham Adult founder price rises 1966 £1,200 (£100 / 9% increase) Band 1 £975 (£76 / 8.4% increase) Band 2 £865 (£66 / 8.2% increase) Band 3 £655 (£56 / 9.3% increase) Band 4 £555 (£56 / 11.2% increase) Band 5 £320 (£31 / 10.7% increase)
  • Insert at the start ;biggrin

Kids season tickets in Bands 4 and 5 are staying the same, again.
  • Ha ha sorry you had me there ....

    ;biggrin

    ;doh

    How about ‘most’
  • This isn’t mine, but it isn’t good either!!

  • Slav, looks as if they want to play to a half empty stadium next season. ;whistle
  • Just making sure they get shot of all those non-Hammer +2's ...
  • Just making sure they get shot of all those non-Hammer +2's ...

    I did wonder that
  • Getting shot of an old hammer too.

Band 4 £555 (£56 / 11.2% increase) for me and the renewal dead line date being brought forward to May 17th means I am unable to renew my season ticket.

I've usually paid for my season ticket with May's wages, I can't afford to pay for it with March's or April's.
