    I don't understand the sell on clause. How many times do Stoke get the payment. Do we have any players with sell on clauses, and why is it in place

    I'd guess that normally it is a way of dealing with different valuations of a player.

    Let's say Stoke wanted £30m up front, and we didn't want to pay that, so we offer a sell-on clause to sweeten the deal.

    I think the club have gone about this well pay us what we think he’s worth you can have him, over to his brother now to turn it round for him and earn his commission from the deal, it’s a shame but we as a club and us the fans will still be here no matter the cost lol
