A youth team player with Cambridge United, Sadlier joined West Ham United in 2005. He was 10 or 11 when he joined from Cambridge - surely that's a child not a youth. ;hmm
Interesting interview with Declan Rice. The highlight for me was that he talks about how he was looking at going on loan to Championship/League One, and then his good pre-season meant Slav kept him about. Shows the importance of pre-season for youngsters, and also shows that those who were then sent out on loan clearly didn't impress in the same way.
Just out of interest, the first place was indeed won by Lowenbraeu Original , second place was taken by ABK Betriebsgesellshaft der Aktienbrauerie
Any chance that you may have heard of them??
What the ... ;nonono
ABK (or as I know it Aktienbrauerei Kaufbeuren) is the local brewery where I grew up. Tiny brewery which only sells very locally. Decent beers, though.
I've Googled a bit and the Lowenbrau Munchner Hell (5.2%) in the light blue cans (or bottles with a light blue label) that Munich described as "atrocious, I wouldn't use it to flush the toilet" is indeed exported (or more likely brewed outside Germany) as Lowenbrau Original.
I've not had Lowenbrau for years so couldn't possibly comment on the taste or its toilet cleaning ability
Despite being a Romford boy, I never developed a liking for Skol, I also recall bottled special was much better than the standard canned stuff, which was simply terrible. Stella may be better back home but it is at least drinkable over here when compared to most local commercial beers.
Must admit that the Crystal Lake beach blonde beer that I referred to earlier is now a staple in my fridge.
Is that Dutch pub in a backstreet somewhere near Charing X road still there? I laid the foundations for many a headache drinking Oranjeboom in there ;lol

It is a risk. But if Toure believes it's true, then he doesn't see a risk.
I read the version of the story yesterday, and the quotes/comments there had no mention of 'Africans' or racism. I'll read the BBC one now and see what's different ;ok
“But when you realise that he has problems with Africans, wherever he goes, I ask myself questions. He will never admit it. But the day he will line up a team in which we find five Africans, not naturalised, I promise I will send him a cake.”
This made me (first) laugh. What is it about ;cake ;cake ? ;lol

As Granville may have once said “you’ll never get that on the side of a bottle”
;wink

That's the one.
I was speculating with grey that I might have been confusing its location with The Lemon Tree. Will check out google maps...
He has a restaurant in Luxembourg called 'Upton Park' ;lol
His restaurant/burger bar is on Avenue du Rock'n'Roll

Sour grapes, or a genuine whistle-blower ;hmm
With no evidence it's just opinion, but quite a serious thing to imply nonetheless.
(Of course, it needn't be either-or )
Will be interesting to see how this one develops.
