    out of the cup because i didnt captain Kane and the other guy did. If he hadnt captained Kane and i had Captained anyone else other than Sane i would have beaten this guy, its so sad.

    Think I have scraped through into the next round, my opponent,s captain did not play so his vice captain doubled points and got 28, think I nicked it by a point.

    Felt brave and appointed Arnie as my captain ;phew

    I beat a scouser fan from Trinidad. gave him an 8 point lead but I scored 87 to his 41. Bragging over straight away though as I admit with the run of games in proximity starting, I am scared my players like Firmino, Sterling, Salah, Hazard will be rested either next game or the game after. So those next two cup rounds will be crucial and maybe just be a case of who's luckier with the rested contingent. Gf lost out after captaining Sane. She was waiting for 0.1 to sign Sterling (who was my captain) during the week but as soon as she got the extra money Choupo Moting lost 0.1. So she transfered him out for Silva and the 13 points Choupo scored ended up being crucial. That'll teach her for copying my gung ho transfer policies :wink: ;whistle

    Managed a club record 102 points this week! Given the players the day off. They are going to the Sugar Hut for a Christmas party.

    I managed a thoroughly average 60.

    My careful planning to ensure I had a full squad to cover rotations has come to nought. ;doh

    In the main table I hold a fairly respectable 11th out of 40 position, however, in the head to head I am languishing at 27th out of 30

    Somehow I am failing to perform when playing teams lower in the league.

    I think its because mine and Chicago's teams have to travel all the way from USA and get jet lagged. Thats the only reason I can think of that we cant perform in the H2H ;whistle

    I slipped another place in the head to head ;weep but the good news is that I am still in the hunt for some silverware.

    Have reached the heady heights of the fifth round! - Am up against a Brit with no obvious team allegiance - my money is on him being a secret spud, well I would not want the world to know either

    My team is up against one called 'Chelsea' from Egypt. He's not made a TF since GW9. So unless he suddenly revives interest AND plays his wildcard or free hit, I will be going forward into the next round (evidence below i.e. 2 Spurs players, Silva doubtful, injuries and basically no bench) or i'll present my next posting in Gary Linekers underpants

    hes not touched the team TF wise since GW9 so I'd have thought he couldve at least Tfd one injured player out recently if he was going to bother. So I'll stand by it and I'm getting through to the next round ;run

    I made a modest 2 TFs this week and Hazard back in was one of them (as Silva was doubtful again but you know now he will play!) ;doh

    So thats my part in helping the other cup team triumph after DeGea scores a record 34 points for a GK ;wink

    Strange. Normally, once I transfer somebody out, they score. Lukaku has done the noble thing and got injured instead.
