I took a risk and Triple Captained Kane for the double week (hoping it pays off and that Pochettino was right about Kane being ready for today or getting at least half a game tonight and then obviously his usual goal against us on the Thursday)

also transferred out Sane bought in Son since Spurs have 2 games on the bounce then subbed out Young (banned for 3 games) for Fernandinho. Thinking I might use my Wildcard straight after the transfer window is closed.

Getting Frustrated with Pochettino rotating Trippier. So want to move him out but I got no one better to replace him with so think I need a bit of a reshuffle.

Team is cushty as long as Salah comes back asap. Hoping he will be fit for next gameweek 14th Jan. (assuming also Kane's illness isn't long term, I doubt it)

De Bruyne is playing, I thought he had no chance after being carried off at the weekend so I transferred him out and incurred a 4 point penalty

What a great day, I was worried as I had three hammers in my team, AC gets a brace and and Arnie and Cressers get assists each.

And Watford even snuck one in against Citeh and my cup opponent had two Citeh defenders.

He transferred in Coutinho and Firmino and only got one point between them his bench guy who will come on for Coutinho also only got one point.

We both have Kane as Cpt so he will be a wash, the main differentiator between us will be my happy hammers!!!

Unless something strange happens, I think I am safely through to the next round....still 27th out of 30 in the 606 H2H but still......

Rudiger is subject to rotation. Which is OK if you've got good bench cover.

That's one of the difficult things with picketing a Citeh or Arsenal forward - Manager rotation with no consideration for the FF league.

I know a few people in other leagues just gone Kane up front solo then shoved in 5 decent midfielders. Salah / Sterling / Hazard / David Silva / GroB seems to have netted a lot of people decent points.

I'm contemplating a similar arrangement.

The forwards have been a bit of a disappointment really, in terms of vfm.

Firmino not rotated as much as others, is in form and gets both goals and assists. He's the obvious choice and cheaper than the considered 'premium price' strikers. i.e. Lukaku unfit/no form. Morata after tonights performance will hardly gain confidence although he has good fixtures coming up and unless Chelsea buy someone he only has to worry about Chelsea playing with no striker. Lacazette also not in form goals wise despite playing ok

Aguero will not be rotated until Jesus is back and match fit. Unless they play a false 9 but why bother when Aguero has always taken the lone striker burden before. So if Jesus is a bit into recovery already and its cup week coming up, maybe he'll be back in 3 or 4 weeks and actually be match fit? However, you will have to make at least 2 TFs to get Aguero in (sacrificing Hazard or Salah which, IMO, wouldnt exactly improve your team. Maybe Mahrez in for Hazard as hes in great form and doesnt get rotated like others. Outside of the next game he has good fixtures too)

Short version = Firmino in
OR
Hazard out + Aguero and Mahrez in ;biggrin
OR
Keep Morata make no TFs (which I know will appeal) and hope with his fixtures he'll start scoring

I have had Firmino for a while and he's scored (in FF terms) well, he is often my captain.

I'd steer clear of Siva for a while. His new baby was born 'extremely preterm' so he may be missing a few games.
