KUMB reporting that he'll join permanently in Jan for £7m.
There's no rush - make a decision towards the end of the season. After all, even Downing had a great start to the season for us, and we all know how that unraveled....
Vorselaar, absolutely ;thumbsup Although, for me, the most impressive aspect of Lanzini has been his tenacity and work rate, so hopefully he continues doing well. I think Lanzini will be one of those players who even when he isnt in his best form, he will still contribute .
I have often wondered if those 'options to buy' parts of the loan deal mean anything at all other than if all three parties want to do a deal exactly the same as it does anyhow.
It just means that we have first refusal. So we've probably already agreed a fee as part of the loan and, as long as Lanzini consents, he'll officially sign in the summer. Just means another club can't make an offer until we fail to get it over the line.
But Pards is right. If Barca come in he just says 'no thanks' and goes there.

Looks good at the moment but would be the first to burn bright and then fade and die...
That's catchy they could made a song about that...
Also quotes a £7m fee.

A slightly different view on the same story ;hmm
I'd want to see the whole interview (his direct words + how the question was framed + context) before I reach a view. ;biggrin
