They are on 7 points after 5 games. We were on 8 points after five and look at us now.
  • Coventry get their first win. Move above Fulham and Spurs.
  • So all we need is Fulham to avoid defeat against Man U

And long may that continue. I really hope the international break doesn't kickstart their season.
  • Fernandes subbed off at half time, that was some business we did there. Kudus didn't seem to be in the squad so possibly injured again.
  • He played yesterday
  • My Mistake Thorn, I actually see not only did he come on for Fernandes but got an assist.

Perhaps we could loan Fernandes back in Jan 😉😜
  • Fulham winning against Man U ,Spurs will go bottom ,its like a double helping of ice cream so good =)
  • Carrick is yet another manager who gets given the job after a successful place holding stint only to drop back markedly.

It's a strange phenomenon as logic would say the urge to get the job produces effort which leads to a drop away once it's replaced with certainty. I don't accept that however as I don't feel these managers are less motivated once they have the job, yet it happens quite often.
  • Dam Utd level ,But Spurs still bottom as things stand
  • Finish 1-1 Spurs bottom and 3 weeks to think about it =)

I think it's more likely that they are appointed when a season is more or less over and the pressure is off / reduced on the players and the manager. Once the pressure is back they can't hack it.
  • I just googled and apparently Spurs spent between £334-£380m in the summer window....... to sit bottom.
  • It's not Carrick's fault Manchester United are just not that good. They have too many players who aren't up to the standard that their supporters expect.
  • I hope Carrick gets a chance to win his next game (and takes it). Perhaps we can sell Spurs the players we don't deem prem-level when we go back up?
