    Taty had to score, but not enough pace on the shot (or the right direction); too close to the defender when half the goal was gaping. Chance created by superb work by Bowen.

    Disappointed to lose. Gave away three very poor goals, especially the first two. Our defence looked so shaky. Too many errors by the centrebscks.Taty had a golden chance but squandered it. Well, back to the main mission.

    3 points are the most important but it highlights the fact that we have a few players who are not first team material. Kante, despite the odd cracker of a goal, is one of them.
    On a day that we pay tribute to one of our greatest keepers we show we don’t have a decent backup.
    I think he sent on the big guns hoping it might go to pens because we didn’t look like winning it.
    Too many big teams left in for us to have had a chance of winning it and tonight could spare us an embarrassment further down the line.

    The defending from us was poor for all 3 goals, but we didn’t go with our best side from the off & this is not a priority game

    I think that our defence looked shaky because we had no defensive midfielder. A lot of the time in the league we're the better side and it hasn't caused us problems, but Fulham just streaked through the middle of the park constantly. It got worse when Orford went off too.

    Agree thorn I mentioned this before the transfer window closed our strength in depth still isn't as good as I had hoped although it is better than it was.

    Areola is still with us but will NES play him?

    Always disappointed to lose but it has saved us another match to play amidst our league games.

    Taty really should have scored as he not only passed it instead of hitting it but he passed it to their player!!! I can only imagine there is a programme on at 11pm he wanted to get home for.

    He's significantly worse than Hermansen, IMO, and we don't have any cup games now until January - so I hope not.

    A bit frustrating as all three of their goals were the result of poor defending on our part…definitely a game that we could have won.

    Far from the end of the world.

    Oh and btw…Kante still fails to impress, to my mind he does not do enough to win the ball back on pace he loses it

    I'm going to take last night's loss as perhaps a blessing in disguise....

    We have more than enough championship games to contend with, as well as our possible F A Cup run....

    We gave away sloppy goals, bur rather last night, than this Saturday coming...

    It looks like there were no injuries ( I'm hoping ) and we of course celebrated the 1st of hopefully many goals for Pablo....Not all doom and gloom....
