    Spurs only draw at home to Leeds, so we're still, just about, in with a chance.

    We have been given a lifeline but we really must win at Newcastle so we can be sure of taking it to the last game of the season.

    I still can't believe they gave a penalty for that tonight when Mavro had his head nearly taken off at Forest and got nothing.

    This really is the season of VAR. I am a big fan of VAR but the people using it are giving it a bad name by their inability to apply the rules consistently.

    Think most fans want Spurs to go down so hope Everton and Chelsea fans get there teams up for there games ,But yes first we have to beat Newcastle

    The rules are applied consistently. Just there are rules for the “sky 6” and different rules for the rest of us.🤬⚒

    And apparently "we know the referees are against us". Sounds familiar...

    This will be the 6th relegation I’ve had to suffer as a Hammer. 1977/78: 1988/89: 1991/92:
    2002/03: 2010/11 and now 2025/26.
    I doubt I’ll live to see a 7th as I can’t see us getting back up any time soon unless of course I witness a venture into league 1.

    As a rider to the above I’ve also seen us promoted 6 times as I was there when we were promoted in 1958 after 26 years in the then second division.

    Can’t see spuds slipping up at home to Everton, they just need a draw.

    We live until the last day on Sunday. We need a win and another spurs defeat. Hope there’s a twist in the tail as it’s another last day.
    We went down last day against Wigan, down last day against Birmingham but stayed up last day against Utd.

    At least we have a small chance at the weekend. Spurs are still big favourites but it will be a nervy afternoon for them and Everton are no pushover, nor are Leeds.

    I wonder how Moyes would view this? I have no doubt he will send his side out to do all they can to win, but I wonder if he would be extra happy he managed to save us or a little bit happy to see us drop after not renewing his contract after alluding to doing so earlier in the season? He would be more of a hero than when he won that trophy in my book.

    We have a slim chance, but it s a chance to stay in EPL. Would the gods smile upon WHU for a final twist to the season.
