You need to hit the back of the net, we've been unlucky with hitting frame 3 times....Just wasn't meant to be today, gotta hope the other claret n blue team do us proud tomorrow evening....
At 2-0 I thought it a harsh scoreline but still thought we were still in it but at 3-0 the game is over where absolutely nothing has gone our way. For the naysayers out there, if we do go down, it will not be because of today’s performance.

Yeh, today aside we've done so well of late, it was the horrendous start under Potter and Nuno's first month or so...... Oh well, it's not over yet, plenty of twists and turns to come.....
Tony Harrington in VAR must be blind, Pawson hasn't been great, but that's where VAR can assist, the non-penalty for the so called slip, it's a penalty all day long, perhaps we got lucky last weekend with the non giving of a penalty with Fernandes......
As bad as Spurs have been, I have always thought they would put it together at the end of the season. I don’t know where we will get any more points, and it is inconceivable that Spurs will lose every game they have left.
Disappointing result. The scoreline flatters Brentford. Three lousy goals. We had no luck against a bogey team. Now want Tottenham to lose and let WHU to get three points from Arsenal.
It was in our hands at 3pm but it’s out of them now. It doesn’t matter how many we lose by because our goal difference is so inferior but what does matter is we avoid defeat.
@jay_in_cpt, For those who can't remember, for what it's worth, Tony Harrington was the referee for our game v Nottingham Forest at the OS in January when Taty was ruled offside when Summerville scored.
Yep, little doubt that we should have had a penalty but we can only blame ourselves for finding ourselves two down, their first was scruffy to say the least and their penalty was entirely self inflicted.
We were also desperately unlucky in front of goal, we created numerous chances and did very little wrong, striking the post three times and having one chalked off for a very marginal offside.
We are still in this - hopefully we can take enough away from this one to carry us over the line in the games to come.
It really is getting beyond a joke with the on-field refereeing and VAR.
A player is wrestled to the ground with the ball in play - nothing given, a player pulls a shirt of an opposing player running with/chasing the ball - foul given. A player slips in a tackle and brings down an opposing player - nothing given, a player loses his footing and brings down etc.etc. - foul given.
Why should it matter in which part of the pitch these occur? Why are the rules not applied evenly? Is it written that the rules are only applied in certain parts of the pitch?
Thought we might get something after the first 45 mins but they were better than us overall. Would like to see Pablo dropped, Bowen with Taty and Traore brought into the side. We have to play to win. Let's hope Villa do us a favour tomorrow.
I really can’t see Spurs blowing it after today. They will be so fired up and Villa have a big game midweek.
We showed today that being fired up and giving all doesn't automatically get you the points, we gave it our all but due to a bit of bad luck and a good Brentford side we came away with nothing. They are playing Villa away and will need be the better side, not just be fired up.
West Ham struck the woodwork four times - a joint record in the Premier League this season - with Valentin Castellanos hitting a post either side of Konstantinos Mavropanos' first-half own goal, before Crysencio Summerville slammed a powerful drive against the crossbar with the score at 3-0.

Last 3 games - 1-0 loss, 2-2 draw (almost won), 1-0 win. They will somehow pull out the points to stay up, IMO.

Fifa/Referees/VAR need to sort this out.
