Watching Arsenal v Barcodes, Eze with a beaut from a setpiece corner. I hope Nuno gets the whole defence to study it, otherwise it's going to be a disaster.
You lot probably know me by now, I’ll always try and see the positive about West Ham ( and life actually) but I’ve got a horrible feeling that this will go down to the last game and that goal difference will kill us. Nothing much would make me happier to be wrong obviously.⚒️ Btw I’ll be in Marrakesh for the Leeds game.🤦🏻♂️🥵
I have a feeling you may be right, I really felt we needed a win at Palace as we have three hard matches now and that was our chance to get a whole match cushion. If we are to do it I feel Nuno will need to be more aggressive for the wins and not try and just prevent a loss. It really will be close and Forest are back in the mix today but you would expect them to pick up a few points which would see them to safety.
It will be such a shame as Nuno has real potential and the league next year will be so much easier, as the teams coming up are really not great, Coventry, Ipswich and possibly Millwall will be straight into the relegation places in my view.
I will say some Spurs fans are also pessimistic however, one wrote today that we are going to easily get to safety now as he couldn't see how we wont get four points from Brentford and Woolwich. They are also mightily vexed about the Fenrnades handball and some have ventured into conspiracy theory.
My Spurs supporting pal has told me that they were terrible for 60 minutes today, and that if the had conceded that equaliser we did there’s no way they’d come back. I think we all just assume the other teams will do better than our own.
We are still two points ahead and they need a win over us in a round of fixtures just to catch up and give them a slight advantage, if we get a win in a round that they don't replicate then we begin to really pull away from them.
The concern, if we don't stretch our advantage nexr round (Brentford away, Spurs have Villa away) is that the following round we have Arsenal while they are at home to (an admittedly in form) Leeds.
Because Chelsea are in the FA Cup final, their game against Spurs will get moved, presumably to the following midweek.
I think that now means we play before Spurs every matchweek until the final day. Could be a potential advantage as any positive results pile pressure on them.
I will be spent by season end, not only will I be watching our matches in a state of stress but then theirs as well, at least on Saturday I could only watch ours.
I think 2 wins would do it, because Spurs would then either need to win 2 and draw 2 or win 3 of their last 4, which looks very unlikely with away games against Villa and Chelsea.
Assuming a loss against Arsenal, we'd need to win one of the away games against Brentford or Newcastle and beat Leeds on the last day. Doable, but still tough.

Why assume a loss at home to arsenal? They have gone spursy lately.
I don’t think that’s so certain, we’ve not lost at home since January & this Arsenal side are not the side that was running away with the league a couple of months ago. I don’t think a point is unthinkable.
The picture really will change game by game. I think many of us thought Forest would be safe after they beat Sunderland but then both Spurs and ourselves won also. I think if Forest or ourselves can win this weekend and Spurs lose then it will be very difficult for Spurs to catch whoever wins, they have all the pressure at present.
Although only a fool would suggest it's an easy match I do think we probably have the best chance of the three sides to take points this weekend.
of Brentford, Villa and Chelsea, all away, I would take Brentford.
I am expecting Spurs to get probably 7 more points from their games. I don't trust Chelsea to beat them. I also think they will win their home games agains Everton and Leeds.

They do need to overtake us but only have four rounds left to do it
Have some faith.
We ended with 2 wins, a draw, a loss - beating Man Utd & Ipswich, draw with Spurs & loss to Forest. 43 points total.

Only one team has been relegated from the Premier League with more than 40 points – the West Ham side that amassed 42 in 2002-03.
I really hope this continues for us, that is your stat not mine.

I am expecting Spurs to get 41 or 42
