  • The only change I’d make is Wan-Bissaka for Walker-Peters. Pablo does so much off the ball that nobody else can match.

I’d bring AWB back in for KWP too

Tempted to go with Traore on wing & Bowen up top with Taty - Bowen has been ineffective RW for a while (by his standards)

    Hermansen
    Wan-Bissaka - Mavropanos - Disasi - Diouf
    Traore - Fernandes - Souček - Summerville
    Taty - Bowen
  • Same team
  • Hermansen, Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Disasi, Diouf, Fernandes, Souček, Bowen ©, Summerville, Pablo, Taty
Subs: Areola (GK), Wan-Bissaka, Scarles, Todibo, Potts, Magassa, Kanté, Adama, Wilson
  • Pablo has to score one day, right? Today wouldn’t be a bad day to do it
  • Still don't get AWB on the bench ,Has there been a bit of falling out

Only changes for Everton are expected, Barry in for Beto, Keane for Branthwaite

37yo Seamus Coleman and 19yo CM Harrison Armstong added to the bench

I don’t fancy us to win today, I think a draw is the most likely, Everton have only lost once away since 13th December (that was Arsenal in last minute).

They are 3 points off Europe.
  • I hope Nuno goes for the three points today as I don't feel draws will be enough in our home matches against Everton and Leeds.

A win would be huge for us, or, at worst, at least matching Spurs's result.
  • A slow start from us, as it so often is.
  • Evidence at hand that we have to get the ball to Summerville whenever possible
  • Garner so lucky not to get booked there as Summerville drove forward, very poor by the ref.
  • Soucek heads over from the resultant free kick.
  • Fernandes caught napping and Everton broke dangerously.

Caught on the break from our corner, then Hermansen spilled it, got lucky there.
  • We’ve looked okay, but Everton have had two dangerous counters already
  • A better spell, putting Everton under pressure.
  • Whose turn will it be to foul Summerville next?
  • Think we have done quite well in getting back in the game..initially it looked like they were going to dominate but we have reestablished ourselves

Probably Attwell himself, just to give the Everton players a break.

Luckily for Everton, the ref seems to have left his yellow card at home
  • Now Mykolenko should have been booked for delaying our throw in, including ‘accidentally’ kicking a second ball onto the pitch
  • We’re looking vulnerable on the break
  • KWP unlucky not to win a foul there, completely barged off the ball.
  • In recent games, we have shored up our defence but seem to have forgotten how to score.
  • Not that I'm really watching it, but Spurs seem to be having the better of things against Wolves, but still goalless.
  • I think we need Traore on - the energy he brings could be decisive
  • We do look vulnerable to Everton long throws.
