  • At least Forest don't have to travel far for the away leg...

As for Palace I wouldn't write off Shakhtar Donetsk

Got into the Conference after they failed to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League, finished 6th in the league phase (Palace finished 10th) then got past Lech Poznan and AZ in the knockout phase
  • Chelsea have pretty much collapsed as a team just in time to meet Spurs and Forest. I knew Rosenior was out of his depth but hoped the momentum from the last guy may have carried them through enough to help us out.
  • He might get sacked in time to get a new manager bounce for Forest and -more importantly- Spurs
  • We can but hope
  • Like Spurs and us, Chelsea's problems lie more with the owners than the manager(s)
  • Not sure, Maresca had them playing ok.
  • Rosenior sacked.
  • alderz got his wish, hopefully in time for Chelsea to beat Forest & Tottenham.
  • Like Spurs and us, Chelsea's problems lie more with the owners than the manager(s)

We definitely had issues with Potter.
  • They’re likely out of our reach now but it probably means the final game of the season will mean little to them especially too that until this afternoon they would probably have been favourites to be in the cup final.
  • Forest away at Sunderland .Lets hope Sunderland do us another favour and beat them like they did against Spurs
  • Forest 1 up
  • Oh dear

Just got worse now 2-0 to Forest. As always we can't rely on other teams to give us any assistance, it's down to us.
  • Make that 3-0 😢
  • Funny this isn't 4-0!
  • That seems like that’s them safe, albeit we’d only be 3 behind with a win
  • Down to two now ,Spurs and us
  • As far as I am concerned it has always been down to us…..until it isn’t

    We can do this

    COYI
  • Be great if we beat Everton and Spurs lost .,We can but dream

5-0 from 6 shots on target.
  • And there were two......

At present Spurs have the greater pressure due to being two points behind but should they erase that tomorrow I think we may find it tough with the pressure Brentford away and Arsenal at home up next would bring. I think we must at least match their result tomorrow.
  • We need to at least match their results from now until the season end. Do that and we’re safe, fail and we’re gone.

I think the reality is we look at this as a golden opportunity that we shouldn’t really have based on our first 20 games. If we go down, that’s where we lost our status.

The only reason we are still in a fairly good position is because Spurs have gone on a once in a lifetime style run for a club of their size. Had they even won 2 games this year, we’d be quite far adrift now (5 points with GD considered) & almost certainties to go.

So let’s use this lifeline & really go at the last 5 games with no regrets at the end.
  • Had we won a couple more games in our first 20 then the same applies.

I'd rather be in our position, where we are currently picking up points, than in their situation, where they aren't.

  • Tbh even the one game against Forest, that we were leading and lost, 6 point swing there and then, we'd be level with them with a game in hand instead of 6 points behind.
  • buffy, That is the game we were VAR'd out of winning IMHO!
  • We've lost so many points after being in front IMO it's not worth looking back, only forwards...COYI....
  • Spurs score.
