  • Traore should make it 5 but a terrible finish

    But no great surprise!!
  • Should have been 5……glorious chance
  • Magassa on for Fernandes.
  • How massive are we
  • 4-0 FT, it's Fabulous Friday.
  • Huge result absolutely massive, hopefully Spurs lose to Sunderland, one week out of the relegation zone please !

A game of two halves though, Wolves looked a lot better than us first half should have been 2 up at least. Second half though we shredded them. I am not sure not playing for 3 weeks did Wolves much good, it was them that looked jaded rather than us who played 120+ minutes Sunday.
  • Good result. 2nd half again we were so much better. Unlike earlier this season, I don’t think our defence will concede everytime we are attacked. Fernandes was fantastic, and when did we sign, this Mavro??? ⚒
  • We’ve now got 10 days until we play Palace

Great 3 points in a game where the players were under loads of pressure knowing it was a ‘must win’ game… Pablo’s ‘Cruyff flick’ as per Dean Ashton in the studio to set up Taty was simply wicked ⚒️⚒️⚒️ & how about Mavropanos he has turned into a very possible HOTY for me anyway, what a turnaround ⚒️⚒️⚒️
  • Taty and Mavro. <3
  • Brilliant result, I think Fernandes kept us in it first half and thankfully we were able to take the initiative in the second.

The purest in me would have given MOTM to Fernandes but how can you take it away from Dino….
  • Much better second half, numerous chances as well as the four goals we scored, they rarely troubled us - 18 points from last 11 PL games, 8 left to get (I’d say)
  • Mmm.
    I hope 8 is enough.
    I'm thinking 10

    I'm thinking 10

Sure that you're thinking of the PL rather than the predictions league =)
  • A couple of encouraging stats that I found surprising:

Only 4 teams have earned more points than us over the last 11 games, and only Bruno Fernandes has more assists than Bowen in the league this season.
  • Yep, 18 points from the last 11 games is top 6 form

This is the thing Bowen. Even when he’s not at his best he still delivers end product consistently and he always runs himself into the ground too.
  • Finally Dino has started to produce the form that I saw in all the Youtube clips before he joined. ;) =)
  • I think it shows that the Premier league really is a different animal, when he arrived he did look like a deer in the headlights and was error prone, now he is more established he is clearly anticipating situations and looks more sure footed with better timing.

  • It also shows the benefit of having a good centre back partner. It's crazy how much better he's looked with Disasi next to him instead of Kilman, Todibo, Zouma or Aguerd.
  • Disasi has certainly been like two signings; him & whoever plays next to him
  • What is the situation regarding Disasi? Does he just go back to Chelsea, is there an option to buy (assuming we avoid relegation)? By all accounts he seems to like it here, so could he push for a move? Could we even afford him?
  • Loan with no option.
  • £30 million transfer fee been quoted.
  • £30 million transfer fee been quoted.

If we stay up I'd try and make that happen. He has completely turned around our defence.
Possibly we could train Dino to be a striker?

There is always an option to buy if you offer enough money.

I think he may be open to it, and Chelsea, as they showed no interest in him at all before he came here so I don't think he will enter the picture there.
  • Yeah, I think it's a real possibility if we stay up, but equally I'm sure the effect he's had on our defence since he arrived will not have gone unnoticed and he'll probably get interest elsewhere as well.
  • £30 million transfer fee been quoted.

Compare that to Dawson at 4m (?) it's robbery, but next to 42m for Kilman its the sale of the century.
  • Mavropanos and Taty both make Troy Deeney's (sorry) team of the week:
