Chicago, do you know what is, I’m told, a vast liquor store in Chicago called Binney’s. My son goes to Chicago quite often and always brings me back a bottle of wonderful bourbon.
If you use either the last 6 or last 10 games as a predictor for the rest of the season, we finish above both Spurs and Forest on either 37 or 38 points.
When you consider the fact we've had Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United as three of our last five games, there are reasons to feel optimistic about our chances of maintaining - or even improving - our form.
That Wolves game is huge for us. We win & we go outside the bottom three & put pressure on Spurs to WIN at Sunderland to escape it. We also go level with Forest who have a tricky game with Villa & Leeds play away at Man Utd on the Monday, who we will be 1 point behind.
Then we have that run of four games. If we can beat Wolves - no easy task - we will be in a great position for the last 6 games where it will be in our hands (most likely), especially with Leeds to play.
Yes ideally we can get enough points from the following four matches to at least take us into the Leeds match with it in our own hands, as it will be difficult to envisage points from Arsenal and Newcastle. Although if Arsenal have sown up the title by then by beating City they may have their eye on the Champions League.
We probably need (worst case), 2 wins in our next 6 games, leaving us with a win on the final day taking us to 38 points, to give us a chance. However, with our GD, we may need more than 38.
Arrived early this evening as I am expecting a packed house in the positive arms tonight, think I will have a large scotch with a smoked cockerel on the side
