  • Are we getting another manager sacked, I wonder?
  • Blimey. Glasner doing a Nuno.

Surely he's gone after that interview?

Imma gonna head out to the triangle in a bit - might see Glasner and Frank getting sloshed in the Faber Fox 😂
  • I can’t fault what Glasner has said, he has really been sawn off by his board.
  • For sure.

But publicly saying that - surely they'll have to get rid? (Mutually agreed is unlikely because he's said he wants to stick by his players. So they'll have to pay him off. Smart move on his part.)
  • it was a hard decision but I imagine most Palace fans would rather have kept Guhai to see if they can win the conference, it's not got much depth in it as always and they could easily have made a good attempt at it, it would have been remembered ( as ours was) much longer than the 20m would be. He isn't as good obviously but he is as central to them as Rice was to us.
  • Rumours that Glasner wants to go back to Germany

Two years in Croydon is enough to make anyone want to leave...

Doesn't MrsGrey live there or thereabouts?
  • Nuff said. 😂
  • I think Thomas Frank and Glasner are both good managers at the right club.

Glasner perfect for Palace, but they aren't able to/want to back him

Frank perfect at Brentford, but he decided to move onto a better paid position at Spurs but with it comes higher expectations.

Potter did the same, doing well at Brighton where he laid the foundations for their success.

Nuno did well at Wolves, but wanted to move on.

Clubs get too big for themselves, so do managers at times.

Two years minutes in Croydon is enough to make anyone want to leave...

    Fixed It For You
  • I used to work in Croydon - I still chuckle when I recall it being described as having a “Manhattan Skyline”. I kid you not
  • Fond memories of the threepenny bit tower outside East Croydon station, where I spent about a year and a half working for Hill Samuel.

Remember it was a right job getting across the road onto the roundabout it was built on
  • I worked there with Atkins for around 1 year.
  • Thomas Frank sacked.

Brentford fans laughing into their cornflakes.
  • Oh no. He was doing really well
  • Hoping for new manager bounce against Arsenal

Let's hope Arsenal bounce Spurs out of the stadium.
  • I really felt he could take them down, They are in the opposite position to us, points on the board early but form is terrible at present.
  • I wonder if it's a coincidence that De Zerbi left Marseille this week too...

The hope is that Ange was one of their worst managers of recent times, and Frank has somehow been worse. Hopefully this is a slide that continues, rather than someone new coming in to save the day.
  • The BBC Live updates say Harry Redknapp wants to do it. I hope he gets it, and with analysis like this why would he not get it?

Confidence is key - make them feel confident, put them in the right position. Tell them to start performing really.

  • Harry just wants the wages.
  • So now Forest have sacked Sean Dyche - so they are looking for their fourth manager of the season - who is going to go there????

What a mess - you have to say that has to be good for us.

    Thoughts on a postcard
  • Who knows if its good or bad for us ,Time will tell I guess
  • "We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future."

Dyche brought four coaches with him including Steve Stone and Ian Woan so looks like they've gone too
  • It seems extraordinary to me - by all accounts the owner appears to be a real piece of work and should be looking in the mirror - I am sure that Nunes and Sean could swap a few stories over a glass of the good stuff
  • I obviously feel like I have some skin in the game and hope we overhaul them - my money is now on most neutrals hoping we do so as well

It’ll have to be a big mirror 😜
  • Reportedly looking at Pereira, who did so well with Wolves.
  • Do you remember when Nuno was odds on to be the next manager sacked? I think that's four that have gone since then. 🤷‍♂️
