  • I see Ings has gone to Sheffield United on loan.

Joined on a free, 1 year with option
  • Man U beaten by Grimsby on Pens .Guess the BBC will turn back to them now =)
  • Amorim Can't last much longer at Man Utd surely!!

He has a 35% win record, for context Moyes was sacked by them with a 53% record.
  • candbsky, How does that compare to Graham Potters?
  • Our Stats appear to be Curbishley at the top on 37%, Moyes second on 36%, At the bottom Grant on 18% with Potter next above him on 25%. The page I looked at covered Premier League years.

So Amorin's 35% win record would have made him a relative success for us.
  • Nice that, despite the start to our season, Bowen has been recalled to the England squad.
  • Didn't realise F1's David Croft or Croftie is a hammer:

  • He talked a lot of sense about the current situation at West Ham.
  • And in other news, Hornchurch have won five of their first six games, remain unbeaten and sit comfortably at the top of the National league south.

Given this is only the second year in the division ….Urchins, Urchins.

Nice to something to shout about 😀
  • And last week they conceded an 80th minute equaliser against a team in the bottom four. 🤷
  • Oi!

    Stop raining on his parade!
  • I was in that parade too but I’m currently following in Brentwood when not on West Ham duty. Top of the Isthmian Premier and into the next round of the FA Cip. 🥳
  • Glory Hunter.
  • And on another topic, if I was Harvey Barnes, I'd be looking for a move.
  • I've not really watched any games other than ours so far this season, but watched this clip:

Tbh, I completely disagree with the pundits, the Fulham player (admittedly not deliberately) clearly stamps the top of the Chelsea player's foot. It doesn't matter if "he's not making a challenge" (Murphy's words), you can't just stand on someone else's foot, so, imo, it was rightly called a foul.
  • Sorry Buffy
    Totally disagree. Shocking decision.
  • So it's OK to stand on someone else's foot, just because he's doing a fancy spin?
  • When I was a lad we wore substantial leather boots with steel toecaps. No one would notice if an opposing player jumped on them. The problem is that now they play in ballet shoes, and fall down in agony if they are touched. Perhaps it’s a personal decision but the players could use more protective footwear.
  • They also came up over your ankles so protected them too. Steel toe caps made a toe punt go like a cannon.
Downside was having to meticulously rub in dubbin every week.
  • Michael Salisbury, VAR for the Chelsea v Fulham match, has been dropped from Liverpool v Arsenal
  • Oh that lovely smell of dubbin Thornbury! Takes me back.
  • Unusual kick off by Rice at Anfield, just thumped it to the corner flag for possession.

That’s a new tactic being used by many teams now. It allows you to press high from the off.
  • Why, in these days of three different team kits, are Arsenal and Liverpool allowed to wear similar shorts? (Rhetorical question, but it annoys me🤦‍♂️). ⚒
  • I don’t think you need different shorts, just different socks.

Interesting that the referee Rob Jones, who could have stuck by his original decision, hasn't also been disciplined.
