  • I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know that updates may be a little sparse in the morning session today, as initially I'm tripple booked with both the F1 sprint race and the 2nd Lions Test match both also starting at 11am.
  • A ton for Stokes, to go with his 5 wickets in the Indian first innings. England currently on 595-8, a lead of 237, having lost Dawson for a useful 26.
  • Lions on the iMac, Cricket on the iPad @Buffy. Good to see the Aussies rising to the challenge, took the Lions too long to realise they are in a serious match - looking forward to the second half.

Good to see Carse backing up his skipper.
  • Stokes out for 141, England 658-9 lead by 300, still batting
  • Carse last out for 47, 669 all out, lead of 311 - now to see how tired the Indian openers are, a tricky 15 mins before lunch for them (hopefully).
  • England all out for 669, a lead of 311. Stokes and Carse accelerated after Stokes reached his ton, so 125 runs came in the session in about 95 minutes. Still plenty of time in the game, India will be under pressure when they come out to bat. Despite leading 2-1, it feels like this is one of the first times England have really been ahead in a match in the series.

An early wicket as Woakes has Jaiswal caught without scoring in the first over, 0-1.

And a golden duck for Sudharsan, 0-2.

Meanwhile, the Lions win thanks to a 79th minute try, that's the series done and dusted.
  • @Buffy did you notice how significant moments appeared to be happening at the same time! We both expected a wicket before lunch, interesting to see if Archer can also deliver one.

I did wonder if the winning try was going to be ruled out, but yeah, it was almost the exact same time as the first wicket.
  • 1-2 at lunch, what a great morning session for England 😊😊😊.
  • How anyone could have watched the rugby and call it boring (as previously certain people on here have) is beyond me, it was nail-biting stuff.
  • Well I'll tell you. This was a completely different game. The Aussies were stronger and gave us a proper game. Quite simple really.
  • I was referring to the opinion that RU per se is boring, not just individual games.
  • A much better afternoon session for India, 86-2 at tea.
  • 174-2 at the close, England fail to make a breakthrough for the second consecutive session and, worringly, Stokes hasn't been fit enough to bowl.
