Is it just me that wonders why they don't have a replacement ball near to the goal rather than half way to the corner? It just seems the goalie often has to trot off to fetch it when for a corner there are loads of players near the goal who could pass it out to the corner taker.
Graeme Bailey at The Boot Room claims that Kretinsky wants to sell his shares after "becoming somewhat frustrated with how West Ham is being run" and isn't prepared to wait until Sullivan finally relinquishes control of the club
How come there's no premier games this weekend .Now I might have to do stuff with my wife well it is her birthday on Saturday so guess it might work out okay
I see Joey Barton has just been found guilty of assaulting his wife, I suspect that may end up with a custodial sentence as it's not his first criminal conviction. It's quite hard to find a more unlikable guy in football, and there are a few.
Our ladies became just the third team to take points off Chelsea in the Women's Super League this season, with Shekiera Martinez scoring an injury time equaliser to rescue a 2-2 draw as we came back from being 2-0 down.

Not only that but the first team to take a point off Chelsea at home this season and only the second team to take a point from Chelsea at home in the last three seasons.
Aaron Cresswell is now on 365 West Ham appearances, which puts him only 5 behind Ludo Miklosko, who is in 20th place for most club appearances. The question is - with Cresswell's contract ending at the end of the season, with only 8 games to play, and the fact he was taken off at half time yesterday - will he make it to Ludo?
Have I missed something, or has Trump been completely disingenuous with the tariffs that US goods supposedly face when being exported to other countries, on his board of "Reciprocal Tariffs". Haven't the figures that are supposedly applied to US goods been calculated on the basis of the US's trade deficit with that country (or the EU) rather than actual tariffs applied by countries to imported US goods?
To me, it appears that Trump is trying to completely hoodwink the people of the US into thinking that the rest of the world has been screwing the US, so it's only fair that the US stands up for itself (and in a restrained manner, as the new tariffs the US are applying against the "worst offenders" are only half the conjured up figures created by Trump from trade deficits not actual tariffs faced by American exporters). Are Americans actually buying this? Should Trump be allowed to basically lie to create an excuse to do what he wants?
Once someone decides they don't care about truth they are free to do as they want and justify it with whatever they like.
Sadly I should have seen this coming in my childhood, I can recall being in the North bank and hearing the chants of 'There's only one team in London, one team in London, there's only one team in Loooondon'
I knew there were more of course but just like those trump supporters I kept quiet, I sang along, and now look where we are!
I guess my issue is that, taken at face value, it looks as if all US goods exported to the EU face a 39% tariff, which I'm sure isn't remotely accurate. However, how many US citizens know enough about tariffs to even question it? Trump is stating that his new tariffs are simply a response to tariffs that other countries are charging the US, but the figures he's quoted are simply not true.
Many US voters couldn’t find Europe on a map, let alone some of the individual countries targeted by new tariffs. Not surprised they believe everyone is “conning” (insert own adjective!) their country.
Just to be clear, I am not a US citizen, so it is not my fault…………just saying………and yes whilst it is being reported that his numbers are based on “correcting” any trade deficit and not really a response to any unfairly imposed tariff, unfortunately his supporters simply do not believe it

We are living in a post-truth world now.
