  • 3-0 FT. Nice one Expat.
  • Bowen's goal was so good. He was 20 yards out and wasn't even facing the goal
  • Took out Bowem for Wood in my FF team... it worked!!!

    Absolutely amazing, what a performance

Thought we were good even before the first goal, we looked strong and competitive, first time this season

Formation so much better, really great performance
  • Tomorrow's headline - “WEST HAM IN GOOD PERFORMANCE SHOCK”
  • Brilliant team performance ⚒️⚒️⚒️
  • Best half of football from West Ham for a long time
  • Well deserved win. Excellent substitutions which changed the game and defence was solid. Fernandes had a great debut and Paqueta was everywhere. Wilson was more effective than Fullkrug. Hope we can now kick-on. May be 4-2-3-1 is the formation for us.
  • Even the CB pairing worked well
  • OK guys, no more goals £2 @ 66/1 for 0-3

With a bit more faith Expat you could have put on more than £2! 😉
Well done for seeing that coming.⚒
  • Three words:
    much, much better.❤️⚒️
  • What a great performance all round, I was feeling quite happy before we scored as we had kept it tidy at the back and had created the best chances.

So many good performances but what a difference Fernendes made, still have him as my MOTM as without his industry, I doubt the rest happens.

Well done to all at the club, so pleased…….

  • Don’t fancy Nuno’s conversation with his chairman after that.
  • Got to play Wilson ahead of Fullkrug. Great win and looks like we may start to be much more competitive.
  • I still keep having this weird thought that tomorrow I'm going to get up, sipping my cuppa while opening the sports pages just to see that we got splonked 4-0
  • I think Fullkrug did alright, and gave their centre backs a good battle, but Wilson brought a lot more energy than I expected against some tiring defenders. I quite like the idea of Fullkrug battering people and Wilson coming in to run around a bit.
  • Wilson’s movement for his goal was superb 👏

oh but the cross was a thing of beauty !
  • I have not enjoyed a goal as much as that third goal in a long time
  • Completely delighted with a team performance that showed everything we hoped to see and so many performances which offer a hope that couldn't really be found after our opening matches.

Fernandes made a bright start after only two days with his new team mates
Summerville looks like he is ready to hit the ground running (literally) now he is back
Wilson looked far from a striker in a retirement home of a final contract
Mavro came in with a good performance, and a new haircut
Paqueta looks motivated and as though staying
    Bowen was Bowen again.

It's not a time for objectivity after the last couple of weeks but if being so we could say we were clearly second best for the whole of the first half but defended much better than previously. The four at the back worked today, maybe helped by all of Forest's homework being based upon our back three set up. In The second half we did get at them more and Bowen made a goal from nothing, after that the scoreline was a little like our losing one at Sunderland, in which it didn't really tell the story of the match as we were simply not that superior, but we'll take it.

    It made my afternoon!
  • Thought the ref had a good game

Happy for Mads, a clean sheet after a rocky start in his first 2 games, but as a team, a very good all round performance ( including Mavropanos ) solid as a rock....

Not often we score 3. 😉
  • That was a superb team performance with all the ingredients of successful sides. The only negative, for me, was Füllkrug. I thought he was so careless with every aspect of his game & didn’t really do anything to support the other 10 players.
  • I didn’t see him as a negative, personally. I think he did a decent job of battling their CBs - particularly Murillo - but lead the line when they were on top.
  • Fernandes looks what we need in a pacey forward facing midfielder, he doesn't look as explosive as Kudus on first look but he looks to have potential for us. Summerville looked very threatening and again forward facing which is what we have been lacking.
