Part of the problem we’ve had this season is too much change. I’m not convinced some of the players are good enough (the keepers, Mavropanos, the central midfielders as a unit), but I want to see how Potter gets them playing after a preseason. Kudus and Paqueta have largely been bad this season, but it’s just not true that they’re bad footballers, because we’ve seen plenty from both of them to prove that isn’t the case.
Completely agree. Let’s make some tweaks over the summer but not massive changes. I think Kudus had his worst game yesterday. He looks like he can’t take anyone on anymore, which even makes me wonder whether he’s got some injury or it’s just terrible form.
I think Mavropanos needs replacing urgently but if we do what we did last summer we just end up back in the same position. Also, I really wish we would just get ourselves a more dynamic midfielder.

Kudus has been woeful this season, Paqueta IMO less so, and I guess he has the "thing" hanging over his head, but he's IMO been better than Kudus. Potter has his work cut out and he needs to get at least 2 more wins out this lot.. He should be able to achieve that....
I think Paqueta has been worse actually. Most of this season (and the past calendar year), Kudus has been played on the left wing which I think knocked him out of form. The problem is he hasn’t been able to pick himself back up.
Paqueta has been awful in his normal position and frequently gives the ball away dangerously while rarely doing anything effective for us. A little better in the last few weeks though and not bad yesterday.

We'll have to agree to disagree then. Kudus has just gone downhill, Paqueta has an excuse IMO, whether others agree , I don't know, but with everything going on in the background, it must be playing one his mind...
Kudus just runs and often just loses it, he also seems somewhat lazy at times with not tracking back ( at times/ not always ) Also Paq is now playing as a striker, or has done, not exactly his natural position...
On the plus side, I think Potter will have learnt a huge amount from the first half yesterday, which was far and away the worst we've played under him.
@IronHerb, So you don't think he wants two of our best players then? I could hazard a guess there are a few above them on a list he would rather get rid of.
@buffybegood, He needs to own the first half as he picked the wrong starting line up.
Herb is right. It’s been clear for a while. Other than Bowen, this entire side is expendable.
However, bearing in mind we're not Chelsea or Man Utd and can't go out and buy 10 new starting players, we need to see what Potter can do with what we've got and maybe 3, 4 or 5 new starters come the summer.

Scored 32 goals in 43 games for Celtic B team and Scotland U18 International.
So equivalent of scoring 32 goals against Amersham, Thetford or Saffron Walden
Plus 56 in the Bundesliga, 47 in Bundesliga 2, 6 in the Pokal, 3 in the Champions League and 14 for Germany
