After 18 games, 17 points from another season in EPL, level with Spurs but 20 goal difference. 5 points behind Man City and possibly a place in the European Conference League. Which way will we go.
Our midfield is still a problem and defence is weak, Can we beat Liverpool on Sunday?
But still, there's no discipline with this team under J Lo, he's simply gotta go IMO
good job we didn't get Duran (straight red today !)
Would have been fun though!!!
Look, we won today, it wasn't exactly a good/great performance, but 3 points it is....
When I go on about discipline, it's just a constant player or 2 every game being banned for the next game, something is not right IMO, but time will tell...
Dread to think what's going to happen on Sunday. One takeaway from today is that it's obvious that Summerville is not PL standard.
Agree with Bubbles, In most his performances he's looked lightweight IMO, he's a good player, but at present IMO he's more like championship[ level....Not based on today, just his overall performances...

It really isn't. It's just your perception. We are at that part of the season where the 5 yellow cards are stacking up.
There have been many games where no players have been banned for the subsequent game.
Honestly speaking can you remember a season where it's been one after another, or 2 next week, I can't, of course I know it's that time of the season, I'm as old as you!!!!, but do you remember when it's been as constant as this, perhaps I'm just getting forgetful....
I think it's the slow coach midfielders we have then, perhaps they are just too slow for some of our opponents, it's a win, but it's just so unconvincing....I'm happy for the 3 points, but against the bottom team who have 6 points, can't get too excited....
All in all really pleased to take the points but in all honesty, we were fortunate to go in at half time on level terms, Fab pulled out some quality stops before getting clattered and kept us in it, we had not created much outside of Solers effort and Southampton had at least three really good opportunities.
To be fair we did better in the 2nd half with Bowens goal being one that Tony Cottee would have been proud of and we were then able to keep them out fairly comfortably and secure the points.
Bit of a nervy game and not a convincing performance but hey, we could be Man Utd
Feel this is a much fairer way of looking at it, not “who” we’ve played, as depending when we played those teams might have had an affect on end result ( teams had nothing to play for etc etc ), IMO 7 Points down is an honest sad reflection 👍🏻⚒️

Well we got 22 points in our final 20 games of the season past this point so intrigued to see how it goes
Lopetegui first half of the season is offically now better than Moyes 2nd half
3W-3D-2L (so 12 points) in our last 8 games certainly and upward trend for a team where the manager seems like he's finally figured out his beat XI or at least 8 of those positions within his first XI

Still lots of questions
Level on points with Spurs.

Bowen's 100th PL goal.
Cresswell's 300 PL appearance.
