    Arsenal really missing Rice today.

    Them and me both.
Must admit, although I still really rate him, he's been gone nearly 2 seasons now and I don't give him a second thought in that regard.

  • I was hoping to watch Earthy tonight as the play off of Sheff Utd - Bristol City is on Sky, but they have benched him! Many on the BC forum surprised at that little move.

Earthy has started in the second leg. Big ask for Bristol City after losing the home leg 3-0.

  • Sheffield Utd score to extinguish any faint hopes Bristol City might have held.
  • Really wicked deflection makes it 5-0 on aggregate.
  • Sunderland v Coventry today .Can't stand Lampard But if they manage to overturn a 2-1 first leg loss .Then we could perhaps pick up one or two Sunderland players we have been linked with

I think Rudoni of Coventry has also been mentioned.

I know anything can happen in a one-off match, but I suspect both of these teams will struggle against Sheffield Utd in the final.
  • Decent start to the game with no quarter being given by either side - number of yellows already issued, at this rate be fortunate if it ends 11 vs 11
  • Mayenda of Sunderland has certainly caught my eye - always looks to do something positive
  • Coventry score to level the tie with 15 minutes left.
  • 2-2 on aggregate at the final whistle, extra time coming.
  • should be a fun exter time

Sunderand score in the 32nd minute of extra time, with literally the last "kick" (header in fact) of the match.
  • Gotta feel for Coventry, who I thought were the better team over the two legs.
  • No doubt that in a boxing match Coventry would have clearly won this contest on points, but it isn’t is it…….and that is why we love this game so much.

    Ha’way the lads
  • Leyton Orient went through to the League 1 play-off final on penalties this evening where they'll face Charlton or Wycombe Wanderers.

    It's Charlton, and Connor Coventry.
  • Southend came from 3-1 down in normal time to win 4-3 in extra time away to Rochdale in the National League play-offs last night, they're through to a semi-final against Forest Green next week.

Both Spurs and Man Utd are playing tonight, away to Villa and Chelsea respectively. Both games are currently 0-0, we really could do with them both losing for us to stay ahead of them both in the battle for 15th (and possibly higher) - could be £6m or more up for grabs in PL prize money.

Edit: right on cue, Villa take the lead 😊😊😊
  • Well, Spurs 1 down. Yay.
  • An assist for Watkins. Bigger yay.
  • On which (related) subject - where's the FF thread gone?

Don't know, don't care 😂🤣😂. I've been truly shocking this season, and haven't even looked at either of my teams for weeks.
  • Avoid the bumped thread, then!
  • Spurs 2 down
  • Villa get a second 😊😊😊

Must say its been fun watching Spurs this season .Apart from Europe =)
  • They really have been atrocious :-)
  • Chelsea-Man Utd goalless at half-time, if Man Utd lose along with Spurs (🤞🤞🤞) then a win for us on Sunday means we definitely finish ahead of both, at worst 15th but with Wolves and Everton in our sights with 13th a giddy target.
  • Villa have done their bit, 2-0 FT.
  • I'm thinking of switching over to the other game. But there's a bit of paint on my skirting board that isn't quite dry yet, so maybe that's a more attractive proposition.
