  • as Leicester equalised - I allowed myself a brief chuckle
  • If you want one more....
  • And then i laughed out loud …and not any of that LOL nonsense
  • This is very funny.
  • Too bad that even with these results there are still three teams worse than Spurs!
  • Well that was fun, the time wasting antics were irritating but it put a smile on my face nonetheless
  • ASLEF, I will laugh along with you IF Everton do end up above Tottenham if they are both in the bottom 3!

I like Everton simply cos they aren't Liverpool and I dislike Liverpool cos they dominated in the 70s/80s

I don’t want Everton relegated cos there are two Toffees down my local and they’re miserable enough already plus the Liverpool fans are smug enough without Everton going down
  • Personally would love Everton to go down, given how they've survived in recent seasons they deserve to take their turn, and that's even before the match fixing against Wimbledon to avoid relegation back in 1994.

Big result for our ladies, beating Everton 2-0 at home to record only our third win of the season and lift us to the dizzy heights of 8th.

Doctor Tottenham are in a panic now - This was on their forum.

'30 points will keep us up. Three of Ipswich, Leicester and Wolves won’t get to 30 points.

But we have to beat Ipswich.'

This is the club that sacked Poch after he finished 5th 3rd 2nd & 3rd, plus a league cup and Champions league final.

We get stick for not continuing with Moyes but their delusion is far greater than ours.
  • Another red card for Arsenal, but a poor decision?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/clyej8k1w14o

Must admit, I'd like such cynical fouls to be red, but surely this is a shocker by the ref, and even more so by the VAR and assistant VAR. Under the current interpretations, I don't see that as a forceful foul, so there's little danger to the opponent. A nasty, snide, cynical foul, but never a red under current guidelines imo.

Red card overturned on appeal, rightly so imo despite it being an Arsenal player. How has the ref and the VAR got it so wrong?
  • I can only think that the issue is a position in which the VAR attempts to find in line with the ref if possible rather than view the call entirely objectively. This call was so clearly a yellow, it's one of those decisions which are becoming more common unfortunately in which 99.9% of all fans and pundits can see clearly what has happened but the guy who has been trained can't see it. I can accept a bad call from a ref but not the VAR.

The deliberate foul is one of the things I would love to take out the game but its hard to do as if you did red card for them there would be so many that were questionable and many games spoiled when called wrongly.

I am not a big fan of the sin bin idea but if it were introduced this would be my first use of the rule. ten minutes for a clear deliberate foul.
  • Var Darren England. Say no more.
  • anyone watching the Forest game 7 up on Brighton
  • It's a shocker.
  • Got to hand it to them, after a bad defeat last week, they totally took Brighton to the sword
  • Poor old Liverpool, they are in for a thrashing this afternoon. The team that just beat Brighton 7-0 got beat 5-0 by Bournemouth last week!
  • Everton 2-0 up within 10 mins
  • Not really Liking what Moyes is doing at Everton
  • Worried he'll get them to finish above us?
  • Not really MrsG just wanted them to go down
  • Did we ever win 3 in a row when Moyes was here?

    I bet they will
  • Did we ever win 3 in a row when Moyes was here?

    Yes. 5 times.

  • Happily rooting for Wolves today and they are one up against Villa, do not really expect Spurs to go down but I am really enjoying the thought of them looking over their shoulder
  • Wolves could easily be two or three up - have had a couple of golden opportunities, hope they do not regret failing to increase their advantage
  • Watching Wolves-Villa, the Villa fans have nicked our “ We are the born out wedlock in claret& blue”.
    Is nothing sacred?🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure who started it first; us, Burnley or Villa.

Or the alternative version "We hate those..." could have been first, sung by West Brom and Blackburn

Really beginning to hate Liverpool again, get away with a foul, go up the other end and get a penalty

Watching the 2 games on atm and it seems as if Palace and Spuds weirdly scored their 2nd goals at the same moment.
