Think we've generally played quite well. Paqueta is quality, Benny having one of those games and I honestly don't think this game would be any different if Soucek wasn't on the pitch and we had 10 men.

Isn't the worst result imo. A good workout and clear that we need reinforcements in the middle. Soucek is utter trash regardless of the goal.

It’s been too easy for them. We’ve had a few moments but they’ve had the best of it

Standard pre-season. Concentration lacking defensively & a few players not looking sharp. In the main we did ok for large parts of the game.

We do need players in over the next month. We all know the Rice void is huge.

I felt for most of the game our play on the ball was decent, with everything going through Paqueta. There was one particular passage of play where we moved the ball from our defensive corner flag to winning a corner up the other end & the football we played was brilliant. Also thought Emerson was good, Downes did reasonably. Then a load of subs happened & it went from 1-0 to 3-1. They finished 4th last season. Was a good work-out.
