It’s called senility. I have that. I often go to a room to get something then forget why I’m there. Hi hum. What was I saying…..
  • Yeah but I’m only 23.

  • Memo to Slacker: Rice is NOT 41 years old. =)
  • I think I missed it cos I was at a gig

Bucharest in on the same latitude as northern Italy and southern France so it will be warmer than London

    Maybe take a sweater...
  • Silkeborg might be top of the Danish Superliga but they lost 2-0 away at Viborg two weeks ago

  • Sweater you say?
  • Fortunately our longest away trip is game week 6; we're at home to Palace that weekend. If the group is won by then it's possible we could leave some players back home for a proper preparation rather than having to take them and have them sit on the bench (as in proper rest them rather than taking them and having them sit on the bench).

    Surely that's a cardigan?
  • Maybe a Swardigan?

It should have nine stripes on it, not four...

  • Do the terms of our lease mean we have significant extra costs for additional European/cup fixtures (as opposed to PL games)? Are some included in what we already pay and we only have to pay if we have a lot of games? How does it all work wrt our stadium costs?
  • IIRC the Europa Conference League was NOT covered in the lease, as it didn't exist at the time, so the club are exempt from further costs for for any extra games played in this competition.

How about FA Cup games, EL games last season etc? Just curious.

Cup games and the Europa League were part of the lease agreement as the competitions existed when the lease was signed.

There was an article in the papers about how the lease covered european games by competition, so AFAIK, the conference wasn't in the lease as it's a new one, so in effect is a freebie.

I think that the article also stated the famous "cost to the taxpayer blah blah blah"
