Teamtalk say we are one of five Premier League clubs looking to sign 24yo USA international CB Cameron Carter-Vickers, currently at Celtic on loan from Spurs although there is a £10m option-to-buy clause.

His contract expires in summer 2023, he joined Spurs as a youth but has only made five first team appearances, none of them in the Premier League.

He was born in Southend, grew up in Leigh-on-Sea.

His dad is American ex-NBA basketball player Howard Carter who has French citizenship and lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His mum is English and they met in Greece.

It could be good I guess or could just mean we get less as fewer clubs bidding. I am not sure who is going to pay 2 billion to Abromavich for the club so it could mean he still owns it come the summer but the purse strings are very limited in comparison to previous windows.
