Cheers one and all. Everyone here, and all my other friends bar one have all had the same answer, so it really is strange that one friend had a different answer.

Btw, do you all re-direct to the NYTimes site, even if you use the original powerlanguage.co.uk address?

I find it really strange, today was my first ever 2 attempt success and after seeing the first two letters I immediately went for the right guess, yet other days I will sit and stare and contemplate for ages before getting it wrong 😭

Yes they started redirecting it not that long ago I think.

Is your friend playing the same one? There are some copycat versions out there

Apparently this was a thing today. Another group I'm in also were complaining about different solutions.

I'm not going to read more about but apparently there's an online discussion about it.

Buffs,
I had the earlier. I didn't get directed correctly to the nytimes page but the original site. Didn't realise, had 3 guesses and close down my browser as I couldn't think of a next guess.
Opened up later and it was blank, put the same words back in but this time my 3rd try gave me a letter in the wrong place where it was correct earlier.
