It wasn't that bad. Paolo Di Canio, Freddie Kanoute, Trevor Sinclair, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard Jnr and Michael Carrick. Sadly we never found a proper replacement for Rio when we sold him in November

Looking forwards, I can no longer see what Lanzini is for. Anderson has been so far off anything like his best, he is another waste of a name on the teamsheet.

I had, and still have hope that Fornals will come good. Bowen is honest, and a decent player, and Soucek looks to have found his feet. And will presumably take over the Marky Mark position (since Nobes looks done at this level.

Edit: look like they got the stats from Squawka, but it's not clear from their site how they calculate it. Premier League only does 'big chances created' as far as I cans see.

It’s been a few years since I’ve used it, but if memory serves, Squawka use Opta stats and Chance Creation is based on playing the final pass before a shot.

What is odd about this squad , is the amount of goals we have scored, compared the others

imagelost, a quick look at the league table tells me we need to sort our defence out. Palace have only scored 30 goals but are eight points better off and Sheff U have scored only 8 more with 38 still less than our 44 but have conceded 26 goals less than us.

I would like to see stats on goals conceded per PL game be each of our goalkeepers (Fab 2x,before and after the injury) seperately and total goals conceded per game.
