I was surprised we were quite so weak.

Hoping for a win shouldn’t be seen of as unrealistic, fans should always be hopeful.

I agree we should always hope for a win as I do with every game. And I’m always disappointed when we lose.

But I wasn’t expecting us to come away from Anfield with a win today.

I was not realistically expecting much from the game but I was hopeful that we would have been more competitive than we have been, Newcastle lost yesterday but really competed with Spurs.

This will be a long last 8 or 9 minutes,

Two seasons running we open up with a 4-0 defeat.

Supporting West Ham is exhausting.

The level of performance in this game is embarrassing.

We can keep making excuses but this club has been doing this for too long. 3 season’s now this has been going on. Drubbing after drubbing.

Nobody minds getting beat but the manner of this result is absolutely shocking. No intensity and no hunger from anybody.
