Is it just me being thick but I am struggling to see how this is a manslaughter charge, he tragically died in a plane crash along with the pilot.

The article gives no information as to what level of criminality occurred, I maybe understand that the pilot took off in poor conditions and was coerced into so doing, but if that is the case then why not say so?

Surely no-one interfered with the plane deliberately, is the arrested bloke a mechanic who falsified maintenance records, maybe, but once again, if that is the suspicion then why not say so.

The pilot asked to do the job was not qualified for passenger transport or night flying do whoever put him in the plane would be my guess
