It's a back three of Fonte - Reid - Collins with Kouyate and Obiang in CM and Chicharito and Andy up top. Antonio to play behind them and Hart in goal.

Not sure who the wing-backs are yet.

I actually think he plays better as a sub though. Guaranteed to bully tired defenders, whereas it's a bit hit and miss when he starts.

For me, he also lends us a very useful defensive option, especially from set pieces. He can generally be relied on to get his head to the ball to clear it.

So, I'd like to see him start, help us keep them out, contribute to a couple of goals, and then he can go and have a breather.

So Carroll hasn't played a single minute of football competitive r pre season

We turned down Sakho move because he was necessary for the first team and has played some minutes and has played in behind closed doors games

I'm happy Carroll is back but surely this is a huge risk with Sakho pretty much good to go....and possibly the better r player

Always though Carroll was best coming off the bench anyways
