Staggers me. On halfway, that's 100% given as a foul, and possibly even a booking.

But do Var look at that? Sorry, I was not watching. If ref let play go on and there was no goal decision following, Var don't have a remit, I think.

We need take a bit of pace out the match now to half time

We need a big improvement on our play second half with more accurate passing and better decision making

I mean, it probably wasn't a clear and obvious error so VAR didn't intervene. But how the ref waved it away I just don't know.

But as C&BSky said, precedent set (until Ronaldo gets a slight tug next week)

Poor from Fornals & Fab on the goal

  Other than that, good

I think we've been pretty pony today but if we get the job done I couldn't care less.

Yes Fornals sold himself to the challenge which allowed the cross.

I am exhausted watching the pace that half was played at. That is a classic example of why not all players suit the Premiership, physical and super fast at times.

Good first half. Benrahma, while great in flashes, still picks the wrong option at times and either runs into trouble or shoots wildly.

Tbf all of our front 4 are guilty of this

being a good game overall, more goals to come in this i think.

Could well be Yeold but it wouldn’t bother me if there aren’t.

I think we’ve been brilliant with the exception of a sloppy period between 25 minutes & their goal.

This is not an easy game away from home.

How is that not red then? Bowen through on the 'keeper?
• alderz

  October 2021

I have no idea how he’s stayed on there
• thornburyiron

  October 2021

How is the forearm smash on Fornals not a red
• MrsGrey

  October 2021

And the straight arm on Fornals?
• WHU_Champo_league_in_7_years

  October 2021

  How's not a red?
• Yeoldhammer

  October 2021

Should have been 2 red let alone none lol.
• OldCastleSwift

  October 2021

VAR is so good when it works like this.
But it looked red initially, so bad refereeing. Again.
• MrsGrey

  October 2021

Red, surely, on the slo mo?
• PrestonHammer

  October 2021

The other challenge should be a red but at least one of them is off.
• MrsGrey

  October 2021

Oh, apparently looking at your oncoming player, them doing a forearm smash across their face is ok.
• eskimoking

  October 2021

I think it should be two reds. The guy is staring at fornals and has done that deliberately.
• Dodger58

Konsa is a bit unlucky but Hause should have been off
• WHU_Champo_league_in_7_years

  October 2021

  Again easy red imo

Hes the last man and it wasn't a penalty, if it was a penno he may have got away with it
• thornburyiron

  October 2021

  Poor free kick
• Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes

  October 2021

The smash in the face was more of a red.
• claretandbluesky

  October 2021

I think they got that wrong The Fornals challenge was the red, a forearm smash in wrestling.
