Delighted to see that Charlton beat Leeds today.

Not a fan of Charlton, but there you go.

I’m surprised to hear you didn’t want Leeds to win. You’ve always seemed so positive towards them

Hammerwombat · September 2019

I’m usually such a neutral where Leeds are concerned.

He could (allegedly) kick a ball at 70mph. Not that there was technology around to confirm that, other than a bloke in a trilby smoking a pipe, walking a whippet saying he hadn’t seen owt like that since t’black pudding fell off t’Flying Scotsman.

Slipping down easily this evening, wombat?

Hammerwombat · September 2019

Just to loosen up the inner Roddy Doyle. Nothing else can cause pain until the rugby and home to Palace next Saturday. 😁

wombat

Much in the spirit of WC Fields:

Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake.

Sheffield live near Leeds, but I hate Leeds more than Sheffield United. I am ambivalent towards Sheffield Wednesday. As a child I assumed they only played on a Wednesday.

Really disappointing result today.
Leeds go top of the Championship beating Boro.
Not really a fan of Boro.

I don’t like Leeds very much at all.

Hamstew · November 2019

Palace

I believe a change of family would not be out of the question?

Apologies to Mrs Expat, as she is very nice. 😃

Very satisfying result at Elland Road this afternoon. Leeds were 3-0 up with 28 minutes to go.
Cardiff managed to score 3, get a draw even with having their skipper sent off.
If nothing else it has made me smile before we kick off in half an hour. 🥳

Wombat, I was always under the impression you liked Leeds?
