Fabianski; Fredericks Diop Ogbonna Cresswell; Snodgrass Noble Rice Anderson; Antonio Hernandez, in a 4-4-2 according to Sky

Liverpool play a midfield three. If we're going two in the middle then Pellegrini has lost his mind.

Ambitious from Pelle. It is OK to have only 2 in midfield as long as one of the front 2 drop back and stop them playing it out from the back. Bit concerned about how Fredericks and Cresswell cope - they will be very busy !

If we go 442 we will be ripped apart

Looks like Milner may be tasked with man-marking Anderson. Couple of early heavy tackles and I think he'll take Anderson out of the game.

Or Filipe runs rings around him and Milner is booked early on. You never know.

Of course I don't want us to lose tonight, but I would take a good performance right now no matter what the result ;scarf

  Sky saying it's 4-3-3.

I agree, a win would be great but a decent performance where we really make them work for anything they get. They’ve hit 4 against us last 4 games so we need to stop that.
Will still be scared if it’s 0-0 at half time as we’ve let all our goals in the PL this year in the second half.

I have no expectation of points from this, so a loss won't upset me too much. I'm philosophical - hoping for a better performance as a team and individually.

what a banger not that Liverpool deserved it but this might open the floodgates

Shame. We've played really well and gone close a few times. Not sure we deserve that.

Fingers crossed we don’t choke and heads drop. We were doing ok up to that point.

What was the lino doing? Roll on VAR.
• grey_til_I_dye

  February 2019

That is a simply ridiculous error by the lino. Inexcusable and inexplicable.

  February 2019

Such a joke. This is how you win the league, you have blind linesman!
• Cuz1

  February 2019

Glad the linesman only missed it from two feet away, what chance have you got
• MrsGrey

  February 2019

Watch Antonio. I think he's injured.

The application has been fantastic. Yes, we will probably still lose. But we have it in us to be so much better than we've been recently.
• Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes

  February 2019

Linesman down that side is an absolute clown. Is he on work experience?
• Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes

  February 2019

Blatant yellow for stopping the counter, and nothing. What's going on with the officials?
• buffybegood

Snoddy well up for this, will never keep it up for 90 mins, hopefully Obiang will be up to speed when he comes on.
