Could to. He steps up to take a penalty and blasts it into row Z. He then gets sledged by the jubilant opposition and floors one of their players breaking his hand in the process. Walking off the pitch he then trips and tears his knee ligaments.
I brought in Firmino and David Silva for Morata and Ramsey also got in Ayew from Swansea as an upgrade on Quaner. Assuming no injuries going to move out Elliott for Adrian or Foster and then prepare a bench boost.
I finally (just a minute ago) made a decision. To have 9 from 15 the same made me wonder for an absolute age! Thats on top of wondering if Salah and Sterling would be rested and if Richarlison was actually fit.
So.... I moved a defender out and I now need my two defenders from the same team to get a clean sheet (or goal/assist would help too)
just also wanted to mention about the draft league... It wasnt so long ago I was really pleased to acquire Ibra and Benteke to have my first 'quality' front three of the season. Well that worked out well. One doesnt play and one doesnt score! ;doh
Bought in Sterling for Alli and Jones for Trippear.
You will now see City lose their first game of the season today....
#garrenteed...
If Spurs had their first choice defence playing then I think they'd be the only team who had a chance of standing toe to toe with City. I believe Spurs will score ( despite me not TFing Kane out) with Mangala at the back. But without Sanchez and Alderweireld at the back, whoever plays up top for City will outscore them.
I like Trippier but he's too expensive for a defender who is rotated. So Jones, IMO, is a good swap. However, Sterling will be rested and Alli will score ;lol ;run
as well as my decision to get rid of Zaha from my team and Benteke from my draft squad (nil points since I drafted him gw12) ;hmm ;doh (I swear the football gods hate me)
Think I might use my free transfer on moving David Silva out for Sterling still have some money in the bank. Was going to trade Elliot out for Adrian but since Elliot is playing again I think I will use the spare cash for Sterling. Then I think I will pitch my bench boost this week as I see a high chance of decent points from the bench.
Will have to wait till after the League Cup games though. Just in case of any injuries.
Big games for Newcastle vs West Ham / Swansea vs Crystal Palace / Brighton vs Watford / Burnley vs Spurs. Where my subs all have a reasonable chance to score some points.
Overseas Arsenal fan bites the dust against me (and overseas Man Utd fan for gf). One of those rare weeks where I had no transfer penalty points ;wahoo
My next opponent is an overseas Man City Fan.....and they scored 72 points in the first cup week and 75 points this week. ;sofa I think it maybe Bench Boost time.
Out of the Cup in the third round, second year running. Shed loads of points on my bench are of no use against a Liverpool fan who had Salah, Firmino and Coutinho in a week when they were on fire. ;weep

Benteke had enough chances. I couldve brought in loads of strikers who could get 2pts a week ;wave
Don't think I'll be in the hat somehow. ;weep
Firmino was an inspired substitution on my part.

I bet it probably does although logic tells me it shouldn’t,
