I'm averaging 2/3 transfers a week, have used my wildcard already and look at my team and think "Lukaku, Jesus and Batshuayi; Mata, Sane, Eriksen and Bakayoko, de Gea in goal with a couple of WBA defenders", where is it all going wrong?
I might add that Bakayoko and Sane have come in this week. That's my two transfers done. Gonna have to consider one of my chips this week I think.
In fact, I think I know where it is going wrong, and it's the ominous shadow of a Spud called Harry.

Wildcard didn't do well for me this week. Hoping for better luck next week but Liverpool v Spurs could be a bad game for me I will have 4 players involved in that one. I also want to dump Mikihtaryian but there is no one of any decent value around the 8.4m mark as I already have 3 city players it would mean jostling out Otamendi / Stones for a different defender and bringing in someone like Sane for Mikihtariyan might be possible if I move Miki out that will free up another Man U player could get Bailly in defence if the trade of works out by dumping Otamendi or Stones for him and taking a cheaper Sane for Miki ;hmm possibilities. Might wait till the week after to do that than spend some points and just use a free transfer to make it happen. ;hmm

Lukerz.... Firstly, welcome to the dark TF side. I believe Suz has periodically joined us.
I was tempted by Bats with Morata injured but Conte doesnt trust him (suspected he'd rather play Hazard up front so I brought him in for Eriksen which was one of my two poor decisions) and I also think hes lacking confidence. MoTD pointed out his lack of getting in the right areas (as opposed to Tammy Abraham). I dont know if its a lack of playing time, confidence or just that he hasnt got that strikers instinct to get into those places they pointed out.
Also Mata, for me, just doesnt do enough (goals or assists) to get into my squad. He never plays a full game which implies to me that he doesnt do enough when on the pitch to justify staying on it (as opposed to Jesus who's just being rotated).
Outside of the obvious Man City MF trio who are all a bit more expensive, I'd rather have Lanzini, Antonio or most likely Zaha (now hes fit, 6.7M, being used as a striker, will play every week and Palace have some easier games now).
If the budgets really tight then Richarlison, Ritchie, Shaqiri or Choupo Moting (Stoke also have easier games coming up) for me are more worthy than Mata and save you 0.8 to 1.4M depending on the pick
For obvious reasons I hope Lanzini does good things next GW ;wink I'm picking Zaha as my new MF player though (conveniently forgetting I said I wouldnt make any TFs this week... Made 2 already ;barrera )
Main team - moved swiftly to get Sakho on my free becuse Chica was injured. ;doh
When I realised how badly that would turn out, spent 8 points getting Morata ( ;doh ) and Aguero, in place of Jesus. Made Aguero Captain, so not a great return, but could have been worse. Shame that all those weeks taing a chance on captaining a defender coincided with no clean sheets. Unlike today.
In my Draft team, left Richarlison + Doucoure on the bench - 12 points ;doh .
My cheap team - least said soonest mended, but how disappointing has Alonso been this season ;weep
Oh, and I'm going to lose the H2H be someone who can't even get his App to work. ;yercoat

2 transfers all season and I am stunned by where in the league I am. Waiting for it to drop!
Sadly, I'm just sad.
Man Utd vs Spurs might be killer for me this week. that's 6 players I have in that 1 game. Thinking of giving the armband to Coutinhio or David Silva this week and hoping for a high scoring Man U vs Spurs game with Kane and Lukaku on the sheet or a boring 0-0 for Lloris, Jones and Trippier points. might even be worth taking a free hit and just transferring the lot out and throwing a bucket load of Chelsea and Liverpool players this week.
I'm looking at Richarlison, too. He's in my Draft team at the mo.
I'm waiting until after the Cup games, though. I just know if I make any transfers before that, they'll get crocked.
Mkhitaryan seems to have gone off the boil from early season. I think Utd's decline goals wise has a bit to do with Pogbas absence ;hmm
Hes not scored anything in weeks. So, theoretically, whoever you replace him with can hardly do much worse (famous last words ;whistle )
Was also thinking of possibly going back to a 4-3-3 instead by dumping Bakayoko if Richarlison works out and trying to broker in Rashford. ;hmm
