  • Except perhaps to the sick bay. ;wink
  • Bit better there but still really dislike the V

Don't really understand why it's there, seems a bit unnecessary
  • I think it looks dead smart -it does remind me of the '76 one, with the V!
  • To me, it looks like the guys in the home kit are about to enter a cooking competition, with the front looking like a bib or apron. No wonder they're frowning. ;hmm
  • They look like Poundland Power Rangers
  • I quite like the combination crew and V neck, I generally get a shirt every three years or so and can see myself getting this one.

    I like it ;ok
  • Why would the shirt design being a bit naff be down to Karren?
  • In the end, though, it's about personal taste.

I expect she gets involved in aspects of the design that relate to branding (like the union jack and 'The Hammers' logo).

But whether it's a nice shirt or not - as you see from here, some like it some don't.

I don't think the Chief Exec of the club should have final say on the design in the sense that it's only approved if she likes it. ;hmm

ST holders will be moaning next (well, on KUMB they probably will) that their season ticket entitles then to 10% off but now the discount is being given to everyone and it's not fair. ;biggrin
  • That's a disgrace. ;lol
  • No, that really is a disgrace.
  • 3rd kit rumoured to be a sky blue (and obviously West Ham) version of this... the white collar would be claret... according to Ex..

Remember the collar on the "Centenary" 1995/96 shirt? It was so long and pointy that if it flapped up while you were running there was a danger it would poke you in the eye
  • I liked that shirt.
  • I've still got that shirt
  • How is the Kids Medium?

I know that some of you have previously said you'd like the shirt without the sponsors name on it.

Well, I have just noticed that the official West Ham auction site has a few home, away and GK shirts from last season without the Betway logo across the front.

I don't know what sizes, I didn't look closely, but it might be worth keeping an eye on that site (obviously they won't ever be selling the current season kit, I don't think). You might be able to pick up a (slightly out of date) bargain. ;ok

  • Wonder which shirt had the biggest collar?
  • The XXXXL I'd imagine ;whistle
  • The XXXXL I'd imagine ;whistle

Few years back, I once see WHU t-shirt "dagenham market "8XL sadly no collars,
    But if ,,,
  • Ok , this is slightly worrying/frustrating, it is always tricky buying on line, especially when you are abroad and cannot just pop into a store to return something, I am a fairly large body type with a 48" chest.
    .
The size guide on the whu store site reflects a 48" home shirt as XL, the training shirt as XXL and a T-shirt as XXXL.

    Why??

I know I was surprised when I tried on a XXL polo shirt at the store and it was too small,

I understand that I live in America and this am closer to a medium over here, but I never have any confidence that what I buy from our on-line store will actually fit.

    Ok rant over
