    My joke (beginning with 'M') team ( that I converted with 15 transfers in one GW a fair few weeks back ), my step daughter and my girlfriend are all still in the cup.     I think your ideal job would be one of those 'scouts' or advisers on the FF site(s) who takes questions from players on what they should do next.

    Looking at the transfers I made, I accumulated a massive 1 extra point by 'buying' a transfer. And it wasn't even a crucial point. So now I only have 1 not 2 freebies for next week. ;doh

    Id look at it from stance of is my team stronger/better for those 2 transfers Mrs Grey. Costa and Alli both scored for you ( Aguero got 2 and Allen got 1pt in comparison)

    Costa's been scoring all season and Alli should've been in your team already ;whistle You have a stronger MF with him in it and Costas scoring more than Aguero is for 2.5M less.

    So it could be worse ;biggrin ( another way of saying curb you Northern tight fisted transfer points gripes ;run )

    On a completely different matter... That Jesus of Citeh looked tasty when he came on (9M though?) I'm not liking us playing against him and their other forwards next game ;hmm Fonte's baptism on home debut ;wahoo

    Yes, ;thumbsup that's my thinking (as you know, I'm not keen on tweaking every week - I like to bring in players that think are good for a bit of a run of games, thus leaving me my free transfers to deal with the unexpected) and the added bonus is that Alli's price has just gone up again. Thus saving me a few Northern pennies. ;biggrin

    Plus, Aguero would have had to been TF'd out next week anyway. (Can't take points if he scores against us. Makes me too sad.)

    I think Hazard is next for the chop. Not enough VFM.

    When I TF in, I also look at their run of games (then they get suspended, injured, go on strike, go AWOL, go go gadget etc). I also hate putting players in against us ( TFd Benteke out for that reason and because he stopped scoring which made it easier ) and agree Hazards not scoring enough points compared to his 10M+ price ( hence my comment on your team the other day ). I'm trying not to make any transfers as there's a decent gap between now and next GW ( I want rid of Allen and Ake but no funds unless like for like pricing e.g Holgate and Davies at Everton )

    I too look at the run of games, and when/if they are playing against us.

    I'm wondering about GK to. I have Pickford, who is injured. I've been managing with just my other GK and prioritising outfield players. And now Pickford might be back sooner than expected.

    But wll he get the jersey back straight away. ;hmm

    I played my wildcard yesterday in a last ditch attempt to climb the table. I'm resigned to a poor season though. I'm 20th of 24 in my work league. I've been top 5 for the past 3 years so this is an unwelcome surprise tbh.

    I usually find he Bench Boost the hardest - I never seem to have a fully fit squad. ;doh

    I brought in Grant at Stoke in GW8 (hey hows he not been Tf'd out by me! ;wink ) when nobody had him (now 8.3%) and he was a great buy + pickford and saved me plenty of cash for elsewhere. I brought in Jakupovic at 3.9 and was just going to play Grant every week but luckily Jak has got the no1 jersey recently.

    Bad start to season and hella ( as we californians say ) injuries have been replaced by steady improvement last few weeks. I think I was 40th+ at one stage in our league ;nonono

    My girlfriends team ( which I've been tinkering with since GW3 as she couldnt be bothered ) is in the top 100,000 now so we're on the up (kiss of death may commence)

    p.s Suz, I've never been a tweeker ;whistle I've been known to tinker a bit though ;wahoo
