Apparently so, based on what Conte said. "I don't see any problem with our team. I heard a lot of speculation about Diego, but now the most important thing is he trained with us this week, he does not have any pain in his back and can play.
"He is an important player for us and we all know this. When he stays in good form he has always played with me."
Costa will make his 100th Chelsea appearance if he plays against Hull on Sunday and Conte is asked whether he will start?
"We will see, I don't want to give an advantage to the opponent," added the Italian. "A 100th appearance is fantastic for him and I hope to celebrate with a win."

You're only saying that in the hope I'll transfer him back in, go on admit it ;lol
Mrs Grey - I just had a look at the person youre matched up against in the cup....
They have a decent team ( strong defence and midfield ). Slightly weak up front with Origi (who doesnt really play 90 minutes) and Gray who's hardly prolific alongside Costa (if he plays). They have over 5M spare money and havent made a transfer yet. Looking at their TF history, they could easily get rid of Origi and bring in Kane or Ibra which I'd say would be a real threat to you.
You've mentioned Costa and Ibra, but Kane is also in strong form and Spurs kicked Citeh in their last meeting when Citeh were thought a lot more highly of. I know Spurs are away but I dont see Citeh coping too well with Kane, Alli and Eriksen. Any way, it just another name in the mix.
What do I think you should do? Glad you asked ;wink I cant see how much you have Hazard and Andy Carroll for (money wise) although I obviously know what their current TF levels are.... My suggestion is that you TF Hazard out for Pedro. Add the 3M + to the 2.4M you already have and TF Andy (whiplash and Boro decent defence) out for one of Costa, Ibra or Kane. (to go alongside Giroud and Aguero which would more than match the other teams forward line)
Personally, if it was me, I'd get rid of Aguero for one of those 3 forwards mentioned too (my currently front line is Lukaku, Kane and Ibra which I think is very strong but I did have Giroud until he injured his ankle last week). Something like Costa, Kane and Giroud or Costa Ibra and Giroud but I know you most likely wouldn't contemplate THREE transfers ;lol ;wahoo
Perhaps also, which might give you an edge to get to the next round ( if you just make 2 TFs ), contemplate using a chip like triple captain (he has Costa so buy Costa and match captain for captain).
Or go the whole hog and use your wildcard ( I know, even more out of your comfort zone ;lol ) as they've genuinely got a good team (by that I also mean in terms of the squad compared to this weeks fixtures) and bring in Stanislas for Allen (who seems deeper these days ) and Alonso for Daniels (Bournemouth too porous) + Pickford out for Jakupovic who's the cheapest GK playing
I'd just add, any time I bring in Kane, he is rubbish. Plus, Spurs goals come from other players almost as much. So I'm more minded to Costa - as with Hazard already in my team, I have better chance of goals/assists I think. It's a gamble going for 1 Spurs player, don't you think? Also, I could see that being a tight game with few goals. Whereas Chelsea are facing Hull. ;hmm

And Spurs defence is currently quite solid.
;fence
outcast, I know. I take all the credit for that - my selling him was usually the trigger for him to find his form ;doh

Lat week, they had Antonio as crocked and didn't 'uncrock' him even after KO. ;lol
I think the system seems to leave them as doubtful unless the manager has categorically declared them fit.
It's a direct quote from the Beeb!!
I'm considering it meself - him or Ibra.
You'd like to think (if he plays) he's nailed on to score.
But what if I transfer him in and he doesn't play? ;weep
Watch him play now and get a hatrick.

;yercoat
Thank you for your advice, which I shall consider over ;coffee
I don't want to use any of my chips, I'm saving them for double game weeks.
I'm not prepared to sacrifice long-term league points for the Cup. ;biggrin
Cautious is my middle name. As you well know.
I'm a sort of anti-baz. ;lol
Or is it just me?
Me too.
Then I feel the siren song of the wildcard.
