I think Martinez will definitely get a run out now. Mrs G. I think Antonio would make a fine goalie. Be a bit unnerving watching him careering down the right wing though.............
Masuaku training with U23s, but back with senior squad tomorrow.
AC came off last Saturday with the same problem that forced him off v Boro. Might be OK for WBA, might not. They physios got him ready for Man City + Southampton after the last problem, and will be hoping to do the same again.
Rumours of Andy Carroll being called up in the next Eng squad (as IronHerb / Yeold says one coming up in March). Call ups straight after our match Vs Leicester on the 18th. Eng games: friendly Vs Germany 22nd, qualifier Vs Lithuania 26th. Then next Irons match is 1st April at Walford Town Hull City.
For the love of all the Gods both Old and New, can we please send someone along to ensure they don't overwork him in training! He will be desperate to impress, we know how badly he wants to be an England player, and he may get too involved as result. It seems no coincidence that since we have severely managed (and limited) his training he is appearing (and performing) in more games more consistently. If England break him from this cycle and break him I will likely loudly mutter a cacophany of curse words.
Comments
Sam Byram and Reece Oxford are also back training with the first-team squad this week + Ginge to be back in training next week.

Play who ever is fit and who fits into our system.
still out long term, Sakho, Arbeloa, Tore + Masuaku
Dunno about the yellow, though. ;biggrin
Oh, and Ginge is training with the 1st team again. Says the FA Cup game came just a bit to soon for him to be ready to play.
Oxford was made Captain and Fletcher scored.
Still out:
Arbeloa (calf, v. Arsenal on 2 Dec)
Masuaku (knee, in training on 8 Dec)
Sakho + Tore still recovering from their respective surgeries.
Everybody else fit and raring to go. ;wahoo
(Except he who shall not be named).
A Dim Rite Pity

On AC: "It is not anything major. Andy felt something similar to what he had at Middlesbrough and hopefully he will be okay for Saturday."
.
Pleased we have the 6 Nations...

...I will conceivably crassly convey a cacophony of curse comments.
My apologies.
AC back in training.
Ogbonna and Sakho in rehab phase.
Everybody else is fit.
