Management Merry Go Round 2026/27
Preston North End's Paul Heckingbottom and his assistant have been given their P45s after losing to Lincoln
Now here's a blast from the past. First team coach Jason Euell has been named interim manager and will take of charge of his first ever senior match at Loftus Road on Saturday
Heckingbottom isn't the first sacking of the season, Wycombe Wanderers' Michael Duff got the boot on Tuesday and they showed an immediate improvement by beating Leyton Orient yesterday
Not a "new manager bounce" but a "no manager bounce"

Some of the names being mentioned seem a tad optimistic
Rod Edwards and Craig Bellamy turned them down in the summer so why would they want to go there now?
Obviously Sean Dyche is linked, he was their most successful manager this century
Steven Gerrard is just insane
The most likely would be Dave Challinor who got Stockport County from the Conference to League One and left after they lost the playoff final to Bolton in May
