    They're certainly getting their £85m money's worth from Fernandes - 89th minute substitute =)

Not getting to much from Kudus either

Has Fernandes played any football in the PL outside of the bottom 5 or so allowing for the fact that large parts were within the bottom 3.

See the DR of Liverpool are being childish again booing incessantly at Anfield whenever Manchester City have the ball. Hope they lose than they will have something to feel aggrieved about.

Well if they didn’t boo, people would say they were agreeing wih Man City cheating. Can’t win either way…

Watched Coventry vs Newcastle - an entertaining but crazy game, almost suicidal defending by both teams, 4-1 to Coventry but in truth the score could have been 6-3.

Just noticed Sunderland, bottom of PL are playing in the Europa League. And losing. At home.

I'm sure there's something sensible to be concluded from this, but all I can see is that there's no rhyme nor reason in football.

Many "pundits" predicted them to be relegated this season as they thought they didn't have the squad to compete both in the PL & Europe.

Yes I watched it and like us they were poor in the first half and so much better in the second.

I think the final 0-2 result was a bit harsh given their second half performance but when you effectively give the opposition a two goal lead, you tend to lose.

Think they totally overachieved last season, this one, I expect them to be down the bottom end of the league and possibly 2nd season syndrome will curse them....
