    First clean sheet of the season...3 points and 3 goals, like already said, perhaps a little flattering, but the result at the moment is more important than the overall performance IMO.

    Mukasa for me is making such a difference. He looks very good on the ball.

    On the way back, thought that was a comfortable win made uncomfortable in the 2nd half for a 20 minute period where we lost our rhythm

    Thought Mukasa was class, not sure hes a central midfielder but hes doing bits

    Engels worries me how often his passing was off, but he put his foot in and put some good challenges in. But need more from him

    Thought the defence was largely untroubled althought thought Scarles was poor, his crossing was awful and his passing was off especially under pressure, even if he was largely solid defensively

    Thought Piroe was class, Taty also good. Bowen was a bit wasteful but really positive and taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

    Solomon was good, but too often he could've got his head up and passed instead of trying to dribble into trouble

    All in all, a really good 3 points

    Yes, Solomon really does well with beating the first man and making space from nowhere. But then he doesn’t pass when there is an option as he doesn’t look up.

    I reckon he could be a good golfer as he keeps his head down over the ball.

    These last two games take me back close to 60 years, when (as I understood it) the "West Ham way" always meant, we don't mind how many you score, as long as we score more than you. It's an age thing

    I don’t know if I’d go that far, but I did think he had a good game today.

    Really good first half and the predictable rocky patch in the second but I’ll take that.
    His use of subs worked out as well, and with the games piling up it’s good to see a bit of strength of depth in the squad.🎉⚒️

    I think we are looking really good on the whole and dominating games. I do think we need a slight shift in mentality in which we are a little fearful having come from the bottom end of the Prem, in which if getting ahead Nuno would instinctively become more careful. This could lead to teams being allowed back into games which we could put to bed.

    I hope we will immediately look for the second if getting a first goal as I think it will serve us better. In the Prem you would never see City get a goal and then act like they had an advantage they were lucky to have, they went looking to secure the match completely.

    I think we have had a good window in which we have looked at the value of a well stocked bench. I am hoping we can get ourselves into the promotion places soon and be hard to shift.
