So being told to pull my finger out by @Expat_Hammer here we go....😉⚒️

After picking up our 1st win of the season we move on, hoping we can make it 2 in a row and climb the table.

Our win, was a win, but somewhat a strange game, unconvincing at times, yet 4 goals scored....But at this moment, results IMO are more important than performance....That can hopefully come....

What team will NES put out is anyones guess, he always seems to tinker with his starting line up and with 2 more to choose from, who knows, I'm not even sure he does TBH........

Even though I've been critical of Scarles at times, I thought it was his best showing for a while, and also I am in the party that likes Pablo, he's gangly and awkward in style, but somehow manages to do his thing and make a difference, I'd love to see him score, think it would really boost his confidence as well...

Our 1pm surprise signing, will he feature, will it be time to party with Vardy or more likely to be a new LB that most here have no clue what he's like....

    This is Derby's 3rd season back in the Championship and its been a bit of a disappointment. They were knocked out of the Carabao by Lincoln in the first round, lost to Charlton, drew with Cardiff and lost to Swansea before finally winning 2-0 at Pompey last night

    Last season they finished 8th, 4 points short of the playofffs, quite an achievement as the previous season they'd avoided going straight back to League One by 1pt

    John Eustace was appointed in February of that first season, last summer he made 13 signings including last season's top scorer Carlton Morris (12) and 2nd top scorer USA international Patrick Agyemang (10)

    They're both injured so CF Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Ireland's LW/RW/AM/CF Sammie Szmodics (on loan his 2nd time from Ipswich) have filled in, both scored against Pompey

    Last season they were 2nd for yellow cards and fouls, this season they're top for yellows with 13 (plus another in the Carabao) and 2nd for fouls (Stoke are top)

    Expect long balls and fouls

    Thx, I did read it and agree, there is something about Pablo, I think he'll improve all the time and get some goals, he just needs the 1st one, but like already said, it's getting others involved and opportunities that he makes....

    I am still puzzled by why Orford wasn't in the squad for the last game after an excellent outing. Was he injured or something else? Can't recall seeing any statement from Nuno. does anyone know?

    WHU, Good question but how long do you leave it before getting them involved? It's like the discussion that was had about our youngsters going out on loan, they either end up being recalled as they are not playing enough & get sent elsewhere or return at the end of the season still having not played much. Surely there must be an agreement in place that they are going to get game time.

    Give them 20 mins on Saturday after we lead Derby 3-0 =) Then play them against Fulham in the cup

    Derby are going back to the future

    They've signed 21yo CM/DM David Ozoh (Palace £4m) who has already made 47 appearances for the Rams having spent the last two seasons there on loan

    They've loaned CB Eiran Cashin from Brighton a year and half after he left, he was a Derby County youth with 144 senior appearances

    I always thought our season wouldn't fully begin until the window closed for as a relegated club we had more business to do than others. I think over the next 2 or 3 matches we will see Nuno's starting eleven form. The team he has had to put out up to now was not necessarily what even he felt was good enough, but now he has had the full window, and been supported well, I hope to see us hit a stride and go on a good run.... It starts with Derby!

    Eustace confirms that club captain DM Lewis Travis and LB/CB Craig Forsyth will be unavailable in addition to CF Carlton Morris, CB Matt Clarke, CF Patrick Agyemang and LB Derry Murkin

    All of them were regular starters last season apart from Forsyth

    Points are the most important thing, but hopefully the performances improve soon

    Today seems like a day to not change too much, hopefully let the XI who beat wolves a chance to develop and build some chemistry

    Only change id think about one of either Kilman or Scarles for Morata or Boiro

    I think there’s only one change to make, and that’s Taty for Piroe.

    Wolves and Derby are very different opposition, Wolves kept possession (56.7% on Tuesday) with short passes while Derby will be hoofing it up the pitch.

    And they're going to be aggressive

    Piroe had four seasons in the Championship with Swansea and Leeds, he'll be fine with it

    Taty maybe not so much, he's not looked comfortable with some of the rough stuff and he's already on three yellows

    I'd be tempted to swap Scarles with Boiro, saying that, thought Scarles put in a somewhat better performance, although IMO was still at fault for Wolves' 2nd goal and not sure if Boiro is even ready to start, apart from that I'd stick with the same 11, after all Piroe won the penalty....

    But knowing NES he'll probably do his usual tinkering around....

    None of us have any idea how good Boiro is, and - let’s be honest - nobody had heard of him a week ago. Scarles had his best performance of the season this week

    Of course, no one is saying that, but Scarles has been woeful, up till the last game where as said he did better, Boiro, has played far more and has had a full season of matches including Champions league games, so he's got more experience.....But as I said...I'd be tempted.......Let's see what NES does....It's his choice, we can just discuss......

    Scarles has had good games before, not like this week was his first.

    I feel like we’re always so hopeful about youth but then once they’re in, we’re ready to get rid of them after a few bad games, while someone like Mavropanos can spend 90% of their time being a liability.

    None of us had heard of him but I’m pretty sure Nuno and his staff knew who he was.
    We keep saying Nuno tinkers with the team but each match we put different teams out too so is that not tinkering.

    If anyone is going to the match the Central line is currently suspended between Liverpool Street and White City with serious delays to the rest of the line

    One under at Shepherds Bush, that's four we've had in as many weeks

    I'm stuck at White City

    As for Bioro he's had 44 appearances for Atletico Bilbao over the last two seasons, 32 of those were in La Liga with 21 starts

    This season he's only played once, got 20 minutes against Barcelona last Friday, 14 touches, completed 7 out of 8 passes, no tackles, got fouled once

    Maybe give him a run out in the 2nd half, see what he can do
