    The Turkish man in the shop at the end of my road told me the Turkish window doesn't end for another few days, so should we speculate over whether Alvarez goes back to Turkey?

    IronHerb, Lots to debate. Are the replacements good enough? Are we still going to play Kilman regularly? Why are lots of people putting too much store on Soucek being our saviour?

    Here are some people I’ve heard of: Julian Dicks, Savio Nserecko, Ebony Salmon, Stan Lazaridis. There’s probably more but I can’t think of any at the moment.

    So with Magassa & Alvarez still in the building ( for now ).....Will NES welcome them back into the squad or will they sit around just earning a small fortune because they don;t fit into his plans ( I'm not saying that's the case, just discussing....)....

    I think they’ll both be included. He started Alvarez already this season so don’t see why he wouldn’t use him if he stays. Magassa played a decent amount last season too, I think the issue with him is that he’s been injured through preseason.

    jay, I reckon either of them makes the centre of our midfield stronger so I expect one of those two to be a regular starter for us.

    I'm surprised they are still here TBH, but from what I read we refused a few offers for Magassa and all the Alvarez interest seemed to fade away ?.....Let's see how NES handles the situation....

    The Prem window has closed but others like Turkey, Saudi, Portugal, Scotland are still open

    Wouldn't be surprised if the ones currently outside the squad like Alvarez and Magassa find moves

    In June 2022, the United Nations officially changed the country's English designation from "Turkey" to "Türkiye" at the request of the Turkish Government.

    Just saying

    Another thing, did you know that Portuguese for turkey (the bird) is peru.
