So, still winless in our 1st 3 EFL games, that's not what we wanted or most would have expected after 3 very bang average ( & that's being kind ) performances so far.....

This game IMO could make or break NES with regard to the crowd, we play bad, lose & he'll lose the bulk of the crowd support....

Of course, as much as I don't think NES is the right person, I really do hope we win....& he proves me well wrong....

Team wise, I guess NES will mix it up yet again, he doesn't seem to know his best line up, and hopefully there will be a few new players signed before the game, we certainly need them, whether that happens or they are ready to play/signed in time is another matter.

Confidence can't be high, the leaders ( Bowen especially ) need to man up, he needs to act like a captain and IMO get a bit angry and vocal....( Did anyone see Watford's captain yesterday barking orders out, we need to show a bit of that ).....IMO, even if that's not Bowen's natural style....

Wolves won't be easy, but we need the win, any less and it will then be a disastrous start to the season. Hopefully under the lights will do the trick...

    Mav back in if fit, I think we’d benefit from giving Bowen a free role behind Taty

    I predict Nuno will go with Orford, Engels & Kante in midfield

    Tough game this as we need that first league win, maybe a higher profile game will take the pressure off, Wolves won’t just sit back

    I think we have proven ourselves the superior side in our matches thus far despite results, but this match will really help place us in the pecking order in this league. I expect the teams playing for automatic promotion to come from ourselves, Wolves, Southampton, Burnley, Middsboro, Millwall and Birmingham. At Burnley we should have won but for one challenge so If we can prove the better of Wolves it will bode well, we need the points as well this time however.

    I actually think that the 2 points dropped against Burnley has had a much deeper affect than realised. If we had won that game, I think confidence would have been so much higher and, as is so often repeated, football is a confidence game.

    Bowen, Taty and KWP need to step up for me

    They are 3 experienced guys who we wanted to retain and be the lads that drove our title charge, and honestly we arent getting enough from them

    Need a win here just to take the weight off everyone's shoulders and relax the fans, the nervousness and anxiety can be felt in the games, everyone on and off the pitch appears defeated

    Hopefully the club will have a new CB by the time this comes along, can't concede the types of goals we can be conceding in these first couple games

    Wolves are off to a great start; new manager Cesar Peixoto didn't have the greatest credentials with seven Portuguese clubs in seven years but they've had two wins and a draw in the Championship and are through to the next round of the Carabao

    Only one first team regular has left, CM Joao Gomes joining Villa £34m plus £4m add ons, but they've made some excellent signings and you could argue they've got a better squad in the Championship than they did in the Premier League last season

    The return of Raul Jimenez on a free after two seasons at Fulham could be one of the best signings of the summer and when they sold Jurgen Strand Larsen in January they replaced him with Adam Armstrong who'd scored 11 in 29 for Saints so they've got options up front

    They managed to convince Brazilian DM Andre to sign a new 4 year contract, made Czech CB Ladislav Krejci’s loan permanent (£20m Girona) and signed Kieran Trippier on a free

    They also loaned CM Jordan James from Stade Rennais who was on loan at Leicester last season, was voted Championship young player of the year and scored his first goal for Wolves at the weekend

    AM Fer Lopez signed last summer from Celta but went back there on loan in January as he didn't fit into Rod Edwards' plans. This season he's scored 3 with 2 assists

    Lopez is the sort of player we lack & need, he will be very effective against our side as we lack a disciplined DM.

    There was a lot of debate online whether Engels was needed & actually Jordan James could’ve been a cheaper & better option.

    Jimenez always scores against us.

    IF Eddy Alvarez does remain, he’s always another option for centre back (plays there for Mexico 🇲🇽).

    Hopefully Mukasa can be that for us because, yeah, we are definitely missing someone to create chances. I think there are promising signs.

    Interesting thought, he is certainly willing to carry the ball forward when the opportunity presents, can tackle and maybe his lack of situational awareness, ie positioning, could be less impactful if he is a little further upfield.

    He can certainly ping a decent pass on occasion but frustrates me by nearly always taking safe easy negative option

    Kieran Trippier injured his knee during the opening game of the Championship against Blackburn while CB Yerson Mosquera suffered an ankle injury in the same match

    AM/CM Jean-Ricner Bellegarde came back from a post-World Cup rest and immediately suffered a hamstring in training while new signing LW Rafiki Said (£7.7m Standard Liege) got injured in pre-season friendly

    Back to a football game instead of all this transfer stuff ,Cant wait for our beloved Hammers to get us off our seats with all the exciting stuff they play .See Nuno is messing around again Taty on the bench ,Well at lest he's not on a plane somewhere

    Perfect game to turn your season around at home to the team at the beginning of the season people had as second favourites for the Championship and currently in second place.

    Still think Nuno's job is heavily at risk he needs big improvements heading towards the international break otherwise he is toast imo.

    We don't know if some of the changes were forced on his., or if it a genius decision or based on duff info from the analysis team.
